I first saw Lee Rocker as a solo artist was with this line up- Mike Eldred, Henry Deluxe & Lee. It was a mind-blowing show. The type of show where you go to your local music store the next day and buy their music. It was unbelievable. Mike Eldred is an incredible guitar player... so much soul, and yet so subtle. This is one of my all-time favorites of Lee Rocker and Big Blue. Pure, raw and heartfelt... adjectives that are lacking in describing much of today's music. Like a fine wine, dude just gets better with age. I feel fortunate that I was able to see him at this stage of his career... I gained a lot of respect for him.

Thanks Dave , It's Henree DeBaun or, Hank Deluxe. I was the drummer in this band. Track was recorded @ Kiva Studios in Memphis Tn. Big Blue was a great band IMO. We had two very good C.D.s on the Black Top label before Big Blue imploded. Thanks again !

My apologies for the misspelling, Hank. I agree that you guys were an amazing band, and I listen to Atomic Boogie Hour and your first album all the time. I like your version of "Beautiful Delilah" better than Chuck Berry's, to tell you the truth! I was bummed that the band broke up, but I'm glad that I got to see you live back in (I believe) 1996. Thank you for the fantastic music.

That must have been amazing to record with Scotty Moore. Did you get to talk with him a lot? I'm sure that he had some great stories.

We are in summer here in Chile, but in my city it's raining as the worst of the winters. This song + the sound of the rain = damn perfect.
