I tried doing on one hand for the other and I had the same problem with some of the nails being to small or to big. I now do them on a nail stand then put them on with acrylic . I don’t use primer cause i realize I don’t need it my nails last until I’m ready to redo …. About a month. And yes it’s so much better than struggling trying to do non dominant hand.

I would say just don’t file the sides as much if you’re finding they’re too big. I don’t like doing actually press ons because they don’t look flawless to me so I prefer this way. But it’s usually only my thumb that is never completely covered 😂😂

Tfs. I use this method, but I use Madam Galm’s peel off base gel. It works really well. I used to use oil and base coat , but I had to eventually put a little of the gel on a palette and use a gel brush because it was messing up my adhesion with the oil in my brush that can get in the gel bottle.
