It's just a superstition and nothing else. The more you superstitious,the more your life will get complex. Superstitions are just put from the satans to divert the mind of humans from the right path and nothing else because the satan is the biggest enemy of the humans.

@AeroAngel basically, it's passed down superstitionally with half explanation from our elderly people which we don't have a proper answer from them YET . But technically, it's for our safety, as we know in the past we don't have electricity facilities, which is one reason that trimming nail or cutting hair may mix inside our food which we may missout from our eye .

Nice film! We have familiar myth in Japan too, which discommend cutting nails in midnight. I don’t know if we have same origins, but loved the tense atmosphere overall.

I have heard the same myth too in my country, Malaysia, originate from the old folks but it's actually because there's no electricity during their time and they probably hurts themselves cutting the nail in the dark,smtg like that

I personally had been disturb by this nail clipper ghost about 2 times..just heard the clippers but when i switch on the light..there none..switch off the light..hear the clippers again..frm midnite till dawn..i did not slept..juz quiet listen the sound of clippers
