In the first example, There first is a sixteenth note, then four 32nd notes following, and after a sixteenth? How would it be counted? I know they’re all supposed to represent the beat or the first pulse, but I don’t know how to count it.

There isn't a strict way to count it. This beat is structured kinda like 1 ee ++ a. ee or ++ represents two 32nd notes In one sixteenth note. To count it, just accent the e and + to differentiate the 2 32nd notes to one sixteenth note. 1 e' +' a

@@MaximumMusic. Was I wrong about the 4 32nd notes? I thought they were beamed together. Sixteenth notes are usually divided into four, so would the 32nd notes be divided into eight?

@@Rhamnousia. The 32nd notes would be divided into 8 per beat, whereas sixteenth notes are 4 per beat. Essentially, this rythmn that is showcased is a sixteenth note but you doubled the second and third sixteenth note.
