@Perpetual Havoc when you say, "stems" I trust you mean the multitracks. Roadrunner Records have the multitracks. FYI, stems are stereo recordings sourced from mixes of multiple individual tracks aka multitracks. Stems are also called groups. I understand that many people use that term for multitracks, but it's originally a film sound term used improperly. No biggie, just wanted you know the history of the term.
@psychonautpupildiallater7734
@psychonautpupildiallater7734 4 жыл бұрын
@@AuraSonicMobile Did not know that? That's funny, cause an audio engineer my band worked with (older dude) looked at me like i was an idiot when i used that term in studio about a year ago. lol I was referring to the individual tracks as stems. Cheers!
@AuraSonicMobile
@AuraSonicMobile 4 жыл бұрын
@@psychonautpupildiallater7734 Yeah, I forget which DAW started calling individual tracks, stems, but it screwed it up for the new generation. Don't get me wrong, multitracks can have stems. I have mixed stereo groups like, 'Drums & Bass,' 'Guitars,' 'Keys,' and 'vocals' so when someone needs to do an overdub across the country or across the globe, I just send them... (wait for it) I just send them "stems" because it's much easier for them to do their parts, not having to deal with getting a mix happening for their overdub.

Oh, and the album fucking rules! “A dark room is my world, life no longer turns me on. Forget my friends, they already forgot me”. Fuckin yes Max!! Chaos AD tour was a religious experience too. I’ll never forget Max and Igor playing pool at a table in the middle of the main thoroughfare. 600 dudes trying to get by 100 gawkers is memorable. Dude’s jaws were on the floor watching them play pool. I just went on by and made it a point to keep the whirlwind hard and fast and then we “accidentally” pushed the road cases on their sides being used as barricades under our feet and they ended up as an island in the middle of the floor, a top notch place for cross traffic stage dives! Chaos ensues. The Zion heartbeat intro looped for about 15 minutes had the crowd frothing, almost literally. Anticipation unleashed into Third World Disorder.

Mercury Rising Absolutely, I saw Korn, with Flotsam and Jetsam, Fear Factory, and Megadeth in Houston summer of 1995. Korn kicked ass. I had never seen or heard a band quite like them. Korn had been around for at least 2-3 years before that.

@@texasturner2313 if you look up and named L.A.P.D and another one named SEXART those were the original versions of KORN with a few differences. You can hear the early wild drug feuled Korn. I'm not sure people realize JD is in his early 50s now
