Essie is my absolute favorite polish! Love the colors, brushes and formulas! My second favorite is Orly and then China Glaze. I’m not a big fan of OPI! Thank you for doing a video using Essie! Loved that color!

I absolutely love your nails. Which base coat would you recommend that will reliably protect against discoloration from red polish?

Red polishes are always tricky when it comes to staining, I'd wear a white polish underneath and double the base coat to have some extra protection. I haven't seen many bases that truely work perfect when it comes to wearing reds and won't have any staining afterwards :(

Super pretty color, I don't own any Essie polishes, but I have a few colors similar to this. Also, application looks super smooth and nice. Just curious.. Have you used any nail polish tinner on this one or did the formula kept fresh since you owned the polish?

No I didn't, tbh I have never owned any thinner before and still don't atm haha! It just kept being in perfect condition for so long :) I think it has to do that I store my polishes in a cool room in dark kabinets ^^

I only purchase Essie colour polishes from TK max when they are cheaper as I agree, too expensive £9 in regular pharmacies. Sometimes it's good to start our nails again after too many breaks, colour cute on you.

Ik vind dit wel echt een mooie kleur, kan eigenlijk wel het hele jaar door :) Korte nagels kunnen zeker ook leuk zijn, alleen heb je minder plek om mee te werken haha. Denk dat vooral de huidige Instagram met de 5 cm lange nagels een vertekend beeld kan geven aan mensen die niet veel met hun eigen nagels bezig zijn :/

Zolang er maar argan of jojoba (of een andere natuurlijke olie) in zit is het al een prima olie. Die van essence zijn trouwens ook heel fijn en ruiken super lekker. Qua handcreme heb ik er nu eentje van dr organic met hemp oil, maar ook voor handcremes maakt het mij persoonlijk niet heel veel uit. Op dit moment gebruik ik een wat dikkere die echt 10 minuten nodig heeft om in te trekken, maar het liefste gebruik ik wat sneller intrekkende cremes van rituals of nivea :)

Haha no. In the US they are ~$10. That is less than in Europe, but it’s hard to justify $10/polish. That being said I have a fair sized collection. I wish this color existed still. I love jelly type/sheer polishes. I like the squishy effect after they are built up.
