matthew johnson I have you know i am the first person to ever post that comment. I first posted that comment in the year 1647 when Whitney Houston released her debut single singing with the grindcore band The Original Originators and i have been using it ever since to spread the word about her beautiful and original voice. Please don't sully her good name by claiming that someone else has posted that comment before me. She is literally rolling in her grave at the thought of it.

When I first saw the cover, I assumed it'd be old school black metal or something. Reminded me alot of Triumph of Death by Hellhammer, and the over-exposed black and white colour scheme is a very black metal thing. Turned on the album and found out it was some of the most vicious powerviolence known to man. Fucking radical.

All sarcastic comments aside this is a fucking masterpiece. It's heavy but not so much that it's comical and unlistenable, if you tone down the distortion and noise a bit it might even sound like a classic thrash record. But the fact that it is that mix of classic sounds with more grit gives it a very dirty disturbing sound that I just love. First time hearing it and it's already one of my favorite metal records. Edit: this comment fucking sucks lmao I really didn't know shit about heavy music almost 2 years ago did I?

Correct, most people have terrible taste in music. This is the best album of 2010 and blows Plastic Beach by Gorillaz out of the water. Nobody was making this kind of metal in 2010 and it still sounds fresh 15 years later.

What is this comment? Plastic Beach by Gorillaz? Also, this style isn't too uncommon. It's just post 90s hardcore punk with a bit of PV and grind influence at times. @@biscuittownd65

to everyone asking about this album being taken off spotify, i believe it's nothing more than a marketing strategy as this album turns 10 years old. I recently got into Nails this year, and the title track from this project is one of my most streamed songs of the last 6 months. I noticed the album missing from spotify, then I remembered seeing a post about album merch for the anniversary of it's release. I loved the album so much I ended up getting a vinyl, which I believe was their goal with the 10 year approach. No doubt in my mind that this masterpiece will return to spotify soon so let's just appreciate the art while we wait :)
