I just found this video, I'm a nail tech, don't apologize about how you do your artwork, as long as you get the results you want, you do you. That's how you learn, and that's how you get your own style, these are beautiful! One hint, matte is much easier to paint on 😀

On your ring finger you should try buffing your top coat or using a matt top coat, so much easier drawing on a non shiny surface. These nails are amazing!!

These are beautiful 😍 As sheer as these are, this must've taken you forever to get these beautiful bright colors having to layer some of the pale ones so much. Sheeshhh...You have the patience of a saint. Lol I was just going to buy this set of born pretty too and i would've been pissed at how sheer some colors are. 😂 You rocked this fr! Random question, i was thinking.. if I mixed food coloring, with top or base coat or even builder gel, etc , could we just make our own jelly colors or any polish for that matter? Matte coat in the beginning and vase coat to apply the tips .. can you provide an explanation .. do the nails stay on?

I use matte top coat to create a peel-off base coat to help them pop off afterwards, and applying the tips with base coat works better for me since glue doesn’t stick to the peel-off base coat😭 They stay on for a few days at most with this method.
