Love that sweater nail ,the whole nail set came out very pretty… I did get my November poly gel box and let me tell you that I was very disappointed with my box too. I did cancel my subscription and subscribe again but with dip powder instead of poly gel.

I am subscribed to the nail boxes boxes but I cancel often. I wait for you and others to post to see if it something that I don’t have already in the box, then if I like what’s in it, I’ll order it. I do that because of last year when they had that hot girl October sale, I bought literally every polygel kit they had because they were really cheap and my daughter and I both enjoy doing our own nails. A lot of the stuff that comes in the box, I already own. I’m going to switch to acrylic too, because I actually only have one if their acrylics. I do want to try them, but I already have so many from other brands and already have no place to put everything. When I get some organization totes then I’ll be able to see what all I have because I often buy thing twice because I’m not so sure what all I have because I can’t see everything

I received my box, I changed it for acrylic this month and it was ok. I didn’t care for the colors I got and I wish I would have gotten either the base or activator to use as a dip powder. I can’t complain I love this set and the colors ❤

if you have a regular gel base coat you can still do “dip powder” nails. apply the gel on the nail and pour on the powder. since it doesn’t self dry, clean up around the nail and cure. i have done a video on that a while back.

So first off I'd like to say you are always putting out amazing stuff, you have improved so much in the year I've been a sub to your channel. So about the monthly box from Makartt, I've been receiving the luxe box since October of last year, and have put up with the Many changes that the company has been making to the subscription. I'm not happy with it. Although I guess the box is now 25$. That's how much they are advertising it to be on Instagram. And my card was only charged 28.50 this month. That I guess explains the lack of products this month. If you go back thru all if the boxes they have truly been deteriorating in my opinion. Look back at videos of unboxing of the first 3 months and they were jammed with tons of stuff and alot of thought went into the products included. I'm frustrated because I've gotten repeats of items like I got the birds of a feather decor two months in a row, which I wasn't very fond of and I've gotten the same color gel polish a couple months apart, and I've always gotten something way different than I see on the videos posted like I don't get the stuff I wish I would get. Plus I am not a acrylic or dip fan so I'm glad I get the Polygel version but when I look thru the colors of Polygel I've gotten in the year I've been subscribed 9 out of 12 have been a pink color!! I love pink but damn!!! It seems like they throw stuff in the boxes that they havent been able to sell. I got these glitters that I got in a precious box and some solid watercolor that they included in October box last year. That I never used them!! I'm frustrated and have decided to cancel my subscription. It used to be a great day when my box arrived now it's filled with disappointment. Hi back and watch older videos and see his nice the boxes were and how they have declined.

hey luv! even though i have no control over how the boxes are ran i’m so sorry you haven’t been loving them recently. now that you mentioned it the first few months boxes have been jammed pack. i also agree with the not being sale items so they throw them in. there was one box i received, i believe it was September where i got repeat items and i wasn’t happy about it. but i couldn’t be mad bc i receive them as PR. it would be totally different if i spent money on it. hopefully the December box is better.

I got a random question.. lol you said you could use regular acrylic as a dip powder? Can you do it with the base coat gel or do you have to do it with the different dip essential liquids?

lol thank you! as for the acrylic using as dip, i fee like you can use either. dip and acrylic is basically the same thing, just dip is a lot finer. you can use a regular base gel for the dip method using dip or acrylic. you will have to cure ofc before adding a second layer. i have tried that method as did a video on it a while back if you wanna go look for it. but if you’d like to see an updated version i can do another one!

I LOVE the sweater design!! Great set and video! You did great with all the nails. Although when you sprinkled the powder on your hearts and tapped them off I only got to see them for maybe a second and I was like how cute! Then just that fast they were gone 😂😂 you have to be happy with your nail design not me lol. I received my Polygel box from November and when I say: VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! they put ABSOLUTELY NO THOUGHT into this box I’m giving them one more month to get it together and then I’m done! Makartt is already expensive almost $40 a month for them not to be putting any thought into these boxes! My box was so random, out of sync with the season it was just not a good box in my opinion!

@@suavesweett I agree with you regarding October's box. It was my first one and it was decent but this one that I received for this month I believe is not worth it. I got two polygels, two gel polishes and one box of press on nails. I may change my selection for next month because I chose gel polish and I get both gel and polygel which I don't like. Dip powder wasn't an option and I'm not good at acrylic application. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am subscribed to the Your Nail Lab in a Box, Makartts monthly subscription box. November is or was my third box I received Sept. Oct. now this months. When I signed up I didn’t get to take a quiz and I have been wondering what everyone was saying about taking a quiz before confirming your subscription. So do I like it? The first two months I did, very much although I was shocked just a little by the polygel colors, all the colors really. I was thinking more of autumn colors…no I got bright summer colors. Oct was very Halloween because as we all know it was a collaboration with Vee. Then we come to November and I pretty much get the same colors this month as September. Bright polygel colors (yellow and a glitter color that really doesn’t match the yellow) jelly bright gel polish I think one is lime then a very bright pinkish color, tips but they really aren’t tips I’d wear..very short and they are not the pump ups. No glue in the box of tips either. Oh and another glitter gel liner in purple? Idk what to think really, I got my box days ago and I want to use what’s in it but I can’t come up with anything given the colors. I should post a photo on instagram and ask. Lol 😂 you said glitter..that reminds me the last item is a jar of raw pink glitter.

I was super disappointed in my box for November. I got two glitter powders and 2 nail polish and a liner. No decoration and a poly. Brush. Yes a poly brush? It is acrylic. Why do I need a poly gel brush. No decorations at all! November box sucked all the way. I was getting Ply box. I cancelled and asked for a year subscription. No answer to that either. Will give it December. If that isn't better going to cancel again. Will try the daily Charm box.

I’m subscribed and I’m really unhappy, I got 2 duplicates of colors I got in recent boxes this month. I’m probably going to cancel, I’ve had the box forever so it doesn’t even let me take the quiz which is just bad customer service.

Ohh noo, i’m so sorry you haven’t been loving them. a lot of others are saying the same thing. how you get less items now, so many repeat items, the items not matching accordingly to the time of year, season/holiday. if it continues i will be reaching out on behalf of my supporters bc this is ridiculous ☹️
