She is singing every syllable perfectly and in a pleasing way. It’s almost as if she doesn’t need the background music at all. Beyond all of that is her voice itself and the bhava that it emanates. Divinity! We are all blessed to be able to listen to Lataji.

I have literally no words to describe the beauty of this song , the richness in the voice of 'Swar Kokila' Lata Mangeshkar'ji , the the intoxicating composition of the maestro Madan Mohan Kohli sahab , the pristine love lyrics by the great Raja Mehdi Ali Khan sahab , the mesmerizing beauty & performance of Sadhana'ji & also the expressive eyes & stellar performance of the handsome Sunil Dutt sahab ( both of these stars are among my most favourites & so is their on-screen pairing ) . Not to forget the song picturisation of the genius Raj Khosla sahab ( rather his direction in the entire film ) . This is one of my all-time favourite films & one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen . ❤♥️
