This is a daft analysis and to think that you guys are supposed to be educated journalists. The exchange rate movement is simply because it is Yuletide season…diaspora remittances. Even my five year old daughter knows this!

If this present administration should be sensitive about any projects it should be provision of massive electrification power projects to brings investors for priding more employment also reducing inflation through an improvement in naira value by exportation of industrial or agricultural products

This supposed little gain, even if true, cannot be sustained as long as we do not put efforts and measures in place to boost our agricultural production for self-sufficiency, self-sustenance and exports. Until we go back to de-emphasize oil as our major source of Foreign exchange revenue by developing other competitive sectors simultaneously, the economy cannot recover fully. Let us emulate other strong African economies by making use of our vast arable lands to grow and export globally valued cash crops like cotton, coffee, cocoa, palm oil, cashew, groundnut, and so on. We can still recover our warehouses from churches and become a strong economic player as we used to be many years ago by doing the right things. It is not rocket science.

Why is it that only festival period naira value go up ? because government fails to make use of the right tools nigerian youth should focus their struggles towards provision of massive electrification power projects in the county to brings all time nairn value through the process of exporting either cash crops or finished industrial products they should seek for leaders that can deliver more importantly power supply for industrial production

@feedadditivemonogastrics5792 Criminals, a country ruled by thieves and terrorists will never make any positive progress than deepening in corruption and terrorism. You're living backward ever, forward never. Living in stone age when others are moving fast with civilization. Nigeria will never be mentioned among the civilised nations on this earth. Dog eat dog country sithole country, animals in the zoo. Get lost.

@@oludayogiwa1806 so when you finish using the euro bond to defend the naira.. what else will you now use the problem is the gov continues using a cosmetic approach to solving problems rather than long time solution.. the problem with naira is that we are not producing to export...

Nigerians in the diaspora wait till festive period which were certain that that their will be more foreign currency in reserve through diaspora remittance which will result in regaining more value for the naira reduced fx value in price fall and they will rush to invest for surely they knew price will surely pick after the festival and surely they knew government fails using the right approach this will never work!

Tinubu knows what he is doing. At this rate in 8 years Nigeria will transform as never seen before. This time much wiser and more industrialised. Unfortunately the Igbos will never be able bring themselves to embrace him no matter what he does. They forget that he is light years ahead of any politician in Nigeria. In terms of achievements. What has Peter Obi achieved during his 8 years as Governor of Anambra ? If he cannot lead the Labour Party, even lead his Igbo people how will lead Nigeria ? Nigeria is more complex than for the likes of Peter Obi. We need leaders who understands systems thinking to put in place policies that shapes governance. Not a leader who just talked about the problems everyone knows about. We need policies, roadmaps. That is what Tinubu understands that puts him light years above every other Nigeria. All those mumu following Peter Obi do not understand this. The Yorubas should be proud they have a leader like Tinubu. No mind those Biafrans. If they pack and leave this time, no one will beg them to come back. Mumu people
