Everyone already knew Gluto was a great top tier player but his Genesis run really solidified his placement and showed everyone he can hang with the best of the best and opened eyes to many who hadn't truly seen how talented of a player he really is. He made a lot of new fans with this tournament.

Of course, it would require legacy player who is well-known and good enough, but completely unexpected due to not having entered in tournaments in a while to play the part... hmmm... Obviously Spargo is amazing and would completely shit on me in every conceivable way… but does anyone else feel like he mashes back air way too much? Like even losing the first game to a suuuuper obvious back air parry into punish. It feels like he mashes on that in neutral all the time to the point that it’s kinda predictable for his opponents?

Maybe, but at the end of the day back air is one of the best moves in Cloud’s kit, and Sparg0 always spaces them perfectly.

Its really safe on shield, extremely large, and kills. It’s probably clouds best arial and is the go to for so many situations so it makes sense.
