Hi Reuben great review again, pop quiz I’ve got the S25 5.3 wing and 1650 jet. Riding in choppy swell in the Bristol Channel and looking to get a second wing for stronger conditions. At 65kgs what size S26 or Matador would you go for? I was wondering on the 3.6 in the S26 as thought the 4.6 might be too much of a crossover with the 5.3? Then the matador has come out in the 3 and 4?? Any thoughts greatly appreciated 🤙

Hi Simon, hmm tricky one. It really depends on how much wind you're talking about. And if there is ever a potential of you wanting a bigger wing also. If there is you could be looking at going for a 4 and a 6m eventually. But I would definitely go for the newer matadors. If you want to focus on windy conditions go for the 3. Otherwise the 4 and like I said maybe 6 in the future would be a great combination. Sorry slightly complicated way to explain the answer but hope it helps, many thanks Reuben

@@SUPboardermag cheers Reuben yeah the Matador seems great. Can’t see me going bigger I tried a 6 s26 the other day and found it a bit cumbersome for me, I prefer to work the wing to get going. Decisions, decisions. Thanks for the advice now what about the HA 1250 ……😂

Hi Rueben, quick question. I'm looking for lightning wing (8-12kn.) and I was thinking to get windowless matador 6m. It's sale now. Do you think it's a good, or bad idea to buy that one as a lightning wing? Thank you for your time to respond. Or would you recommend Duotene slick 6m for ligh wind wing? Trying to decide between those two.

Hey Martin. As far as boom less wings go, the Matador has a load of grunt and is nice and light too. But Regarding the power in light winds I feel the Slick can get me up in less wind because of the way I can use the boom to get the wing to work efficiently. I have just been using to new Matador LT (review out soon) still a very good wing, big difference is improvement to handles, stronger and chunkier. 50%makes the old one a good price though!
