When I was a kid, being a superman fan, the best costume I could come up with was to wear my underwear outside my pants and pretend to be a superhero but kids these days are using their creative ingenuity to create out-of-this world costumes. The event also provides platform to local entrepreneurs to showcase their local products manufactured in Nagaland. The event is filled with creative young talents who dont sit at home & feel bitter about everything around them but rather utilize their summer break to keep themselves occupied with fun & creative engagements. All in all, it is about good times, spreading positive vibes.. No wonder NAJ COSFEST is known as the happiest festival.p

Yan Kikon, I think i loved about the program was meeting people with aims that r so high that they can be in Space and live in it. They r willing to see and get their prize with their passion as there rocket. Thank u bro for making us built a rocket and get the prize. When I was reading the comments, I don't know why people are criticising, and spreading hatreds. I'm not a fan of cosfest but I appreciate what the youth are doing this days. I myself as a young youth of Naga ,I always know what youths are doing and where are they going. But some people nah, they doesn't know what they are doing, all they do was criticised if they don't feel comfortable or if something is new. Come on people, even if we like it or not. You don't have any rights to judge or criticised.

No doubt, you guys have put effort into making this a succesful event and most importantly proliferating happiness. But what are we becoming? Why are the youths too mych influenced towards korean or japanese lifestyle? Remember, A mango can never be an apple. Even then, if u insist on imitating their ways, you should also learn their culture and discipline as well. Japanese and korean stands as one of the most developed and well disciplined countries. Whereas, Nagaland holds the distinction of projecting itself as one of the most corrupted state in indian subcontinent. Look at the infrastructures and other socio- economic dimensions of the state. We stand nowhere compared to 7 neighbouring states. 8 players from Manipur represented For u-19 fifa worldcup. Dipa karmakar represented tripura in olympics. Nagaland women u17 women cricket team could made only a single digit run against kerala. Where are the naga youths? Nagaland- third most dirtiest state. Why dont you youths take inititiatives and go for cleanliness drive in spare time.

It is making us experience about what an international event can be. If you are talking about cleanliness, they are making materials from cardboard. This is just a start. I have seen some negative comments, just a heads up those r irritated ppl with government jobs as their aim in live who in turn work with our corrupted government. Youth of this "generation z" r trying something new without causing any problems for others so why should those aspiring youth be faced with many obstacles for them because of this narrow mentality around them. And sure we like what we like it's a given but this doesn't mean that we started going ahead of ourself n compared with those developed nations, all I want to say is that we nagas like our DNA festive culture so we already learn to appreciate other culture too. Lastly i would also like to see our ppl learning some other good habits n following them from those nation

Injecting happiness into the minds of our young minds is critical for us to instill hope & positivity which will enable them to work towards creating a more positive, better & progressive state. Just because our older generation has become sad, frustrated & bitter doesn't mean we should also teach the younger ones to become bitter as well. If during our generation, we listen to Mr Big, Guns & Roses and play electric guitar, dress like American Rock Stars it is ok but if kids follow Japanese pop culture & beatbox it is not ok, .. I think we should first look at ourselves and our childhood before we tell them to shun away from it & become as sad & bitter as majority of our 30-40+ olds

well for your information I didn't dress or acted like what you mentioned during our times. I am a simple Naga from a poor family and most importantly from a poor star if Nagaland which fifty years back were roaming the jungles with no clothes on but I remind you those nagas were hardworking,honest and simple people. my point is we should live our lives according to our standard. our politicians drives around with luxurious imported cars when we don't even have proper roads. .I challenge you to organise an event where you pull in some resourceful person who will instill knowledge about our society ,culture to our younger generation. if you can pull as much crowd as you have in this event where our Naga youths have so vigorously participated and vigorously put in resources and money to a fantasy culture than I will salute you. forgive me for saying this but I don't think what you are doing is beneficial in the long run for these kids...do something and organise something that will make them a better person intellectually and personally. I don't think cosfest or whatever it is isn't going to help. ..
