Pepsi battle of the bands, is a competition among unknown or newbies bands. All the bands perform, gets eliminated and at the one band wins the competition. Faisal and Bilal were judges along with fawad khan and meesha shafi. And every one of them had a guest performance. "Hamesha" by fawad khan and "jilawatan" by call worth a listen, for sure. And there are so many top notch performances by newbie bands i.e. kashmir, auj, bayan, so on and so forth. Looking forward to your reactions on more of the videos. Chao.

The Band Aaroh, E.P. (Entity Paradigm) of Fawad Khan & Mikaal Hassan Band first got fame and recognition due to Season 1 of Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2002 and came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively, SHahi Hassand and Rohail Hayat of Vital Signs were among the Judges, later the show was cancelled and then again revived in 2017 with Judges including Fawad Khan, Meesha Shaafi, Shahi Hassan and Atif Aslam, they have audience in this shows, the show is about new underground bands coming to compete and there is a winner at the end winning contract of album production sponsored by Pepsi. Dear Ladies. I love your choice of songs and your honest comments during and after the songs. Strings are like the Peter Pans of Pakistan music. Their first synth based album came out in 1990, followed by a 1992 follow up. Then they disappeared and came back with a bang with Duur (2000) and Dhaani (2003).

Its called Battle of Bands where different bands from all over Pakistan come and showcase their talent....The judges are singers or ppl like Strings who play their songs as well to entertain us....Its a competition and who ever wins the rounds they become the champions.

'Teri tasweer - Bayaan' This song is from the debut album of the band Bayaan. They were the winners of Pepsi Battle of the Bands season 3. Also, the vocalist, Asfar, and the drummer have featured in many Nescafe Basement songs as well.

The Format of the Show is that newly or unknown bands from all over the country take part and then they compete with each other just like an Indian Idol but it's in between bands rather than singers, and strings, Call, Gohar Mumtaz, Aaroh, Atif Aslam, Fawad khan, etc perform as a guest appearance. Show judges are Strings, Meesha Shafi and Fawad khan.

So much memories from last 2 decades, pakistan pop rock was at peak recognised world wide, like vital signs, strings, jal, junoon, call, mekal hassan band, ali zafar, sajjad ali, saleem, and there were so many..
