Subahana Allah it is so great to know our Islamic history and the great contributions of the people of Africa to the mission of Muhammed (SAW). There is no space in our hearts to discriminate at all to any of our brothers and sisters from all over the world. Love to all our brothers and sisters from Africa. May Allah bless the people of Africa and enriched their lands with bounties and the Rahma (Mercy) of Allah. Ameen

Well abyssinia back then included Somalia and Eritrea and parts of Sudan, so a lot more people are “Abyssinian”, it’s just that Ethiopia the most famous of the countries kept the name.

Yes I totally agree with what you’re saying but what you are failing to understand is that the rulers of Abyssinia at that time have more similarity with the Ethiopian people.

The two people had one language- Geez, one people- people of Saba, and they had one currency- Durham. Their language wasn’t Arabic at all. Evidence. 1. “When the Sehabis came and explain their belief to the king(Nigus/Negashi), he cried” (not word by word ). That’s because because he truly felt their pain & They had the same language. That was Geez! Geez is one of the ancient languages, the Enochian Languages. 2. “Allah/God told to prophet Moses, “Go to The Medians” Moses went from Abyssinia(modern Sudan), and spoke to them with their language (of south Arabia). 3. Far in the past, before the invaders arrived & Abraha’s invasion, The people of Saudi, Yemen, and Abyssinia were one people. Shukran!

PolSmokesPot { ولد الوجيهي } Why`Did`Other`Eastern-African Countries Embrace`Islam .. But Most-Ethiopians Never Became Muslims ??
@wefa30764 жыл бұрын
You do realize that about half the population of ethiopia is muslim. Ethiopia has round 105 million people (give or take 5 million depending on who your asking) so there are around 50 million muslims in ethiopia........

@@unknownservers3420 I'm Somali , I can tell you that Oromos are not new Comer to Ethiopia. They always been there and are more native to Ethiopia then highlander Habesge Amhara & Tigray.Somali, Afar & Oromo have Horn of Africa much longer then the sematic Speaking Habeshe and to Arabs the time of the Prophet the region was Basically Abysinnia & people living in it where habeshe since they couldn't differentiate them. Islam mostly appealed to Somali I would guess is culture ...being mostly nomads like the Arabs they came in contact ... the religion most Somalis worshipped Waaq I guess concept was closer to Islam which made the easier. Oromos don't live on the coast so Islam didn't reach them early . Islam only reach through Somalis & Afars ... that is why Oromo are only half Muslim and half are Christians influenced by the Habeshe. The theory Oromos are late arrival is Habeshe myth.
@unknownservers34203 жыл бұрын
@@saedmohamud6760 bro I'm half Oromo and Oromos are problematic first of all Ethiopia should change the "kilos" into regions that don't involve ethnic groups also Oromo's had their fare share of killing and invasions u do know that many Somalis and hararis, garages died because of Oromos because of the generation tradition expansion thing where they have to gain land the oromo's are nomadics so they did not have a place but the lived in the ogaden and northern kenya region but then they moved upward to habesha territory in the 15th century when the somali leader Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Ghazi the hararis had to build walls to keep the oromos out but that didn't work the habesha let them in and many where already converted to Islam and it made madness also Habesha Islam is a minority only comprising 15% in all.
@saedmohamud67603 жыл бұрын
@@unknownservers3420 killing happens within Somalis, it happens within Afars, Somalis have killed Oromos & Afars too and vice verse ..Somalis have been killed by Afars & Oromos too. But that doesn't change fact that Oromos are native to Ethiopia, same way Somalis are native eastern Ethiopia and Northern Somali... Now have Oromos spread to land that is usually not their native land sure they did, but US Somalis did that... so did the Habeshes. The myth habeshes spread about Oromo being foriegners from central Africa is wrong and myth and as Muslim & half Oromo its sad that you believe such a myth.
