The sacre coeur organ is absolute one of the best symfonic organs ever build . And the combination with maître Hakim was a match from two great personalities, as we could hear clearly in this improvisation. Bravo!

The presence of the Septieme mutation is clearly audible in the tutti and gives this organ an special edge to the sound that I have only heard in recordings of Notre Dame de Paris, specifically when Notre Dame still sounded like a pure Cavaille-Coll. Amazing sound it is.

Yes, that Septième is contained in the Cornet VIII in the Solo division. The Cornet had been reduced to V, omitting its 1-1/3', 1-1/7' and 1' ranks sometime in the mid-20th century, but the 1980s restoration reinstated these.
