The most underrated channel on youtube, I really appreciate how educational you make your videos but also how playful you are in your approach to content creation. As a young person who hopes to be an architect one day, you really inspire me to keep grinding. Thanks!

I’ve asked to many architect colleagues about the end of the modern movement and each one said that the exact moment the modern movement died was the Pruitt Igoe demolition but i think that it was the beginning, within the departure of the Nakagin Capsule Tower it get closed an era about a futuristic vision of the architecture that never be. We still have two more capsules on Kishos Kurakawa home at Nagano, but the interaction on those capsules attached to a traditional home structure doesn’t correspond to the initial idea about a minimal but incredibly well designed home.

Pretty cool simulation but the initial concept only considered vertical expansion of the builiding. There is no way to expand horizontally without creating new towers next to the initial ones.
@DesignGoBrr2 жыл бұрын
Yes, indeed. But that means just new cores should be created to facilitate the horizontal expansion. Very similar concept to a modern urban growth model of a city (city centers as urban growth cores) that can be observed in any megapolis.

Really cool video sir if i am not wrong did you use the same logic for the script that you use in previous videos of "How to grow a city where each block gets direct Sun Light" that videos is really cool. the videos and its output blows the mind.
@DesignGoBrr2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yup, it was the basis for this video indeed! (I'm also going to use it in Unreal Engine 5 video series, so expect to see a really really big structure in the next video :) )

i dont know what to do with my final project i am so stuck, theres not enough tutorial of yours can help me solve my problem:( congrats on the sponsorship
@DesignGoBrr2 жыл бұрын
I'll give you a suggestion that I give any of my students: Sit down, stop watching youtube and start modeling. Doesn't matter if your model is bad - keep modeling. Then model version 2 that is less bad. And so on. Once you finish school the client won't care if you're stuck or not - if you don't deliver, you get axed. So use school as an opportunity to learn self-discipline in terms of producing material no matter what.
