You just go to any shop and check it in carat meter machine. Then u go to that shop. And do not store that model in old stlyed velvet box. Nowadays they give plastic box with sponge. U polish again and try. The polish will not go. Avoid storing in velvet boxes for long time in locker. The colour will surely change mainly for lappa models.
