My advice to my kababayans marrying foreigners especially the British men,not all British men, bu some of them are quite controlling so please make sure you learn how to drive so you can be mobile especially if you are living in Australia or New Zealand where there is not much public transport where you will live, depending on what areas you will live. I have friends married and living in NZ who cannot drive and go around without their husbands driving them. So in a way their movements are monitored and controlled and cannot associate with other Pinays. I know a lot of Filipinas in these predicament and I and other Pinays take our time to drive and show them around. Why now..because some of their golden oldies husbands have passed away and somw are now stucked at the rest homes while the Filipino wives are still young enough to go around but they cant because they dont know how to drive..in short. Mga dakilang Pinay housewife..gloried housekeepers But the other Pinays who put thwir foot down and said they want to learn how to drive and were able to work and drive are ok..happy life..mostly Kiwi and Ozzie men are ok with wives working and driving unfortunately those married to Brits are not that lucky..so be careful Pinays..am talking from true realities..its up to you..just saying the obvious..
