@@jarvis541 absolutely, still rocking. Only thing is every once in a while you need to synchronize the system but other than that I love my nakamichi!

I was practicality on the edge of my seat until I believe it was 12:20 when you explained they don't let you edit your sound settings fully, lol I'm a sound freak an every sound system I've even set up for myself I've spent about an hour 1/2 editing all my lows & highs to the exact point I feel best...not a game changer but definitely hit me in the stomach a bit. Hi Jacob, I see many poor reviews on Amazon complaining about the firmware and software upgrades ruining the system and no customer support? Also there is often a delay when using streaming services and popping when changing shows etc. Have you experienced that and if yes, how did you overcome the problem? Thank you

Interesting that you have your Back speakers sideways on those Stands. Mine are similar but figured the Tweeters would be directed indirectly if they were laying down. Everything sounds the same I hope. Guess I'll try it. Thanks for the Review to get the word out more about this system!!. Just wait! Til Ps5s built in 3D surround sound card sounds like with this! 😂

How good are the atmos speakers?

How effective or convincing is the the Atmos/ DTS X height effects? I usually find that with Dolby atmos soundbars the surround sound and subs do great, but the height speakers are not really effective. I never hear or get the feeling that rain or other objects are coming from above.

The size and shape of your room has an effect on that as well, so it will be differ between users

Might be worth it if you can get it on sale, but I'm not sure I would spend $400 more to go from 7.2.4 to 9.2.4

@@jrob0021 I have thr 9.2.4 at first I was like wow completely blown away. But I realized overtime the side speakers(toward left & right ear) would drown out back speakers. I removed the 2 speakers on the side so when I get a bigger livingroom

Hey have you upgraded your firmware on this? It says to do this by plugging a USB drive onto the USB port on the back of the soundbar. Does this come with a USB Drive? Just looking for some instruction on this. Thanks!

You most likely have to download it off their website using a non included USB drive.

I have upgraded firmware a couple times. You just download the file from their site, stick it in the usb slot, and then it basically does its thing and it's pretty quick. It doesn't include a usb drive

Don't unless you have a big livingroom where sound can be thrown around, the 7 2 is fine. I got thr 9.2.4 and it's overkill if your livingroom isn't huuuuge

What about for an LG oled with Earc, this sound bar is only arc, can I run my earc to the sound board and my series x to the tvs hdmi ports and still get all the audio formats properly without added compression or sacrifices and also get the hdmi 2.1 features ie: 4k 120 vrr w/ hdr on my series ? Im confused, I thought I needed an earc sound bar to do that.

I have the system also and I recommend using Dolby Surround ( Highest surround setting ) then hit Game Mode. For games Specifically it's ridiculous. For example.. Ghost of Tsushima on Ps4 has Every nature sound Exactly! Like the real outdoors. Birds, Leaves, Wind, Ridiculous. Same with Red Dead Redemption 2 just.. nutty sound.

@@Shano84Mac I have to agree with you. I was playing Dead or Alive on mine and there is a beach stage. You can hear the background sounds change. There is one side where you can hear the dolphins splashing in the water. The other side has a bird cage and the birds literally sound like they are in the room with you.

It’s recommended to not place any objects on the subwoofers and also to give it a couple of inches of space as well.

Yes it would. I live in an apt and I have the 9.2.4 I had to take out the 2 side middle speakers bc they drowned out the two back speakers. If you have a huge livingroom then ur good for the 9.2.4

My br is about 12 x12 ,i have the ultra one sub up front, one in rear. Front surrounds on stands ear level,vertical. Rear surround, i mounted up to the ceiling ,facing down. I live in a apt complex, watch alotta movies. I love the system. But very few audio tracks ,give you that atmos sound ,alot. Still it works when available. Ive had explosions scare me,lol. Or bullets whizzing by in multiple dimensions. LG C9 OLED. It all works well together
