I'm also an owner of a BX. More than 30 years. It's one of the rarest decks which has on the left side a pitch control. So we mixed in the 80th tracks with this Naka and the Technics SL 1210 vinyls and cassettes together. 😂

Is there a reason why this should be the best-sounding 'Jabdah' on YT? The only reasons why that should be the case is that it's reproduced by the Nakamichi. Now, I've never owned one but this sounds remarkably clear and void of tape 'flutter'. My compliments to the owner of this machine!

I've had one for 15 years. Still have it. Never needed servicing. I also have a bx-125 that i recently found at a thrift store for $10.00. Your recording levels are rather high though.

Everyone thinks Naks are the best but it's not always true, the BX-300E is their low quality entry level cassette deck, the Aiwa AD-F660 kicked ass on the BX-300E for half the price.

@@samiam247 AIWA AD-F660 has a WOW and Flutter about 0.028 % and Nakamichi BX-300 about 0.027%. Source: hifiengine.com. Are you able to you hear the difference? I think nobody can. So take your AIWA AD-F660 and be happy with it but don' t tell anybody that Nak's are bad. Especially not the CR Series.

What's your favorite deck. Even through KZbin i can hear that the JVC deck sounds brighter than the Nak. This has also been my experience with my own JVC and Nak decks.

I can definately hear that Dolby C. It has taken all the space and dimension away. Its like having a sound gate on the music. However, the recording has convinced me the Nak BX-300 is a legendary deck and on my shopping list.

Well that's kinda strange considering the Tape/Source button looks like it's depressed, so what you're hearing is the signal from the output device, and not what was recorded on the tape... EDIT: Ah, he does press the button 6 minutes in, nvm

I have never noticed any such compression with C, it is all I use. And my decks are nothing to sneeze at--I have a BX-300, and a TA-2090, and a KX-1200, and a D-2200M, and a TD-V621, and a GX-7, and a cd491, and oh yeah, a Z-7000.

The human ear 👂 listens in analog not digital . Vinyl and tape is analog . Cd is digital . I still use my nakamichi and rega planer for that beautiful natural punchy sound that can’t be produced on cd or mp format

So it is recording and playing through headphone jack at the same time. This is a three-head deck. So is it playing what was just recorded on tape. Or just playing the source (not yet recorded onto tape)? Super geile deck! I wish I had one.

I had this tape deck. It had a somehow harsh sound with most tapes. And problems with the transport. Not a Nak i expected.. Above all, no level control (calibration) so, Dolby B,C cannot work accurately.

This deck is meant to be used with tapes with standard level calibrated mostly with TDK SA Tapes. Maxell XL II or Sony UC-X have also simular recording characteristics. So it's recommended to use this tapes.

Звук оригинала и записи отличается очень слышимо, в отличие от JVC-621, очень изменилась тембральная окраска - пропала мягкость, стал очень жесткий "электронный " звук, видимо BIAS не правильно подкорректирован, и выходной сигнал по уровню стал выше, особенно высоких - не понравилось - JVC пишет и звучит лучше... ПыСы : А наводки в паузе в конце - это вообще тихий ужас - на уровне среднего музыкального центра!

No there is only a stereo jack to stereo jack cable and directly into a camera. No expander present. Recorded on a SD Card and only uploaded with computer. Нет есть только стереоразъем для подключения стереокабеля и непосредственно к камере.. Отсутствует стереоэкрандер. Записывается на SD-карту и загружается только с компьютера.
