My room mate and I used to own the 7.1 SSE before going ahead with purchasing the 7.1 eARC for our tiny apartment. I am going to say the upgrade brings immersiveness to the next level in terms of audio and bass, typically the bass is punchier and more precise as it's now 10". I highly recommend to anyone who wants to pull a trigger and especially now since they are having the Black Friday sale to get it. Thanks TripleM for covering this!

Did you notice a big difference in sound between the 2? I just ordered the original, like u had but was debating upgrading for 120 more. Just not sure I'd notice much of a difference

You did great showing the unboxing and speaker set up to show that the satellites are not wireless. Also they use an RCA audio cable. It is just like a Vizio sound bar setup. Amazon doesn't show the hook ups in the description photos or a set up video in the older version. However I'm not looking to get the Pro but the older one with a smaller sub.

We have the older sound bar similar for this one but unfortunately we had to stop using it,because it severely interferes with our home wifi

Did you place the sub In the back because that was your preference? Or was that the recommended? Because I know for one sub it says to place it in the front but to the corner away from the wall so it can breathe and sound better? Thanks

You connect to the TV, but then you can use the other HDMI ports on the speaker bar to connect your other devices.

No, it's really clear and concise soun concise. It's really head to convey that on the video, but I was really impressed with the sound.

When I connect via Earc I get no sound out of the system. It gives me a mute icon on the tv screen and when I try to raise the volume on unmute nothing happens. It worked fine for 2 days then it just randomly stopped.

Netflix Atmos issue: I got this soundbar today, but just as in my old sound system Netflix movies display atmos but the system picks up PCM signals. Checked TV sound settings and soundbar settings. Can't get Netflix to stream in Atmos. Help

Have you called Nakami there customer service is great when I put an Atmos movie on Netflix the lcd displays switches to that setting

Bought the 7.1.4 subwoofer has an annoying popping sound during watching a movie or playing ps5 games, customer service is a joke they say change your router channels, DF off and move the subwoofer away from the router which I did, guess what didn't change a thing I have 3 other brand wirless subwoofers in the house and the nakamichi one is the only one with popping issues. 2:56

Had the same issue I did change the channel on my router in the 5g part and it seemed to work played with it the volume and different content no popping . Took a while but at the extreme may have to kill your 5g all together that will completely take it away..Something with the 5g that is causing it though for sure...

@sexy912 I tried didn't work and customer service said that it is my neighbors wifi that is causing the popping sounds, I actually ended up returning it and replacing it with Samsung and what a difference now it feels like I'm at the movie theater every time I watch anything.

@jameshastings6538 Truly the samsung it absolutely rocks the entire house at 13 volume with soround I can feel the pressure and the wave of the sound with amazing clarity plus the subwoofer and the soround speakers are wireless so no wire limits on where to place them.

The stands are not included. The woofer is awesome at the current location, but I love bass. However you can adjust bass levels.

It looks like I'm sending mine back. Not impressed at all with the bass. Sounds subpar to what I had before. I may just get another system. Nakamichi was very good in the old days. I'm surprised even with separate zone controls, no good!!! That's my experience. I even followed that ridiculous recommendation of unplugging everything and putting back each system one by one. Wow!!!

I used to be a big one for surround sound speakers that but I got myself Creative LabsSound BlasterX Katana Gaming Soundbar w/ Wireless Subwoofer & Remote Control And I've been pleasantly surprised and enjoying it
