Nakazato's Revenge! - R32 vs R32 - [頭文字D x Assetto Corsa] (Part 2/2)

This video is based off of the Initial D: Black Lightning CD drama, which was audio-only and published exclusively in Japan. This means that it's canon to the anime, however I haven't seen any part of it created with accurate visuals yet.
Keep in mind some compromises had to be made while putting it together. I used Satake from Extra Stage as a replacement for Eikichi, who has no official design. The lip sync was off specifically in scenes where the camera pans to one side, but I synced the others properly. I'm new to camtool as well, so some assetto scenes vary in quality and style unfortunately.
I also apologize for how long this took to publish. It could have been done much sooner but I took breaks from working on it for way too long periods at a time

Hello everyone! I've just hit 100 subs and I want to thank everybody for the amount of attention and positive support that has been directed at this channel recently. Even if it's not my most popular video, it means a lot to me when something that I've put a great deal of effort into gets this positive of a response from the community. Lately I've made a large amount of progress on another battle from the Black Lightning CD, in which Nakazato drives an S13 against Shingo (this time in mono-audio, lol 😅). I can't guarantee a release date but it will likely come out within the next month or two (hopefully!) Side note: I would also like to re-create kenji's race against the roadster (mika) so if there's anyone out there that may be willing to a transcript of just the race, it would be greatly appreciated!! Nakazato is the greatest loose end in the entirety of Initial D. I would love to see an anime (probably just one series long) that would be a redemtion arc of Nakazato. But not really against Shimamura. I think that a more devastating loss for him was the battle against Seiji in his LanEvo. Seeing Nakazato train like never before mastering his grip technique, engage with his love interest Sayuki and admitting the friendship with Shingo, overcoming the coup d'etat attempt. And finally in the end defeating Seiji on his homecourse, Irohazaka, against all odds, winning once and for all. I would pay just to see that.

Takeshi is a good driver with two huge flaws; 1. He cracks under pressure which leads to poor throttle control in desperate moments. 2. He always races all out without considering tire wear. So glad that he learned from his mistakes against Takumi, Keisuke, and lastly Seiji, the latter who made the exact same mistake in Akina. It was great to see Takeshi's true potential as a driver.
