Can I thread this heli safe system straight through my mainline? Someone told me I need to use fluorocarbon aswel.. can’t see the point? I’m using Mono on my main line if anyone could Get back to me thanks a lot great vid

You need to test it to make sure it is pinned down that’s why fluorocarbon line is used sinks like a brick !

Where do you get the little half swivel from and what size?

It comes with the heli safe but if you've lost it then I'd think it would be a size 11 swivel but you would need to cut one ring off

@@alexfox9933 it’s size 8 mate. Watch the long range masterclass and Ali uses a dark matter leader, cuts the ring and half the swivel off to covert it to a heli safe and those leaders use size 8s. Hope it helps
