A little history of Ka Ang Waterfalls
Ka-ang Waterfall was formerly named “Ngu Chong-ang Waterfall” (king cobra) since this area was full of king cobras. The villagers were afraid to go up to the forest. Currently, the route to the waterfall is more convenient and the name has changed to Ka-ang Waterfall. It is a small waterfall with a large stone area and streams flowing through the rocky channels but without water during a dry season. The best time to visit this place is a rainy season (from September to October). The waterfall has no facilities. Nearby, it is the site of the Department of Forestry's seedling nursery and the hill is the location of the Buddha image.
