thanks for video it was really helpful ,i wanted to ask you why you did not use the freq output of PLL directly and make the references with this formula sin(2*pi*f),sin(2*pi*f + 2*pi/3),sin(2*pi*f - 3*pi/2) and i wanted to know why you multiply by modulation index? and what is phase shift angle? where did you calculate it?

Hello, I didn't use the freq output, because the grid has a fixed frequency. Because of calculation times, unstable situations may occur. The modulation index changes the inverter output voltage for island mode. When the inverter is connected to grid, modulation index and phase angle change the active and reactive powers. I didn't calculate it, these are generated by PI controller.

Hello, What is the method for control of inverter? Is it current control method? PI Controller takes P & Q as input and generates 'ma' and shift.

Hi, P=V*I*cos(theta) Q=V*I*sin(theta) I want to generate a reference reactive power in kVAR. To do this, I need a theta. I know cos(theta)=0.99 so power factor. acos(0.99)=theta Qref=Pref*sin(theta) ==> Qref=Pref*sin(cos(0.99)) I suppose, the Pref may be Sref. But, the system around unity power factor. Please check. Is there any problem?

Takieddine Drai, you may use the Ziegler Nichols method to tune the parameters. And also, you can select a small Kp and increase step by step. You can find the optimal one.

I have a doubt.. In the calculation of Q_ref, I rhink Q=P*tan(phi) and not P*sin(phi) as you have done. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

These equations are used to sine wave generation. I only add phase shifts. I don't know any reference about it. But it is general thing. If you need help, please let me know.

I am glad to hear that. Because I used a power factor reference (0.99), I calculated the reactive power in kVAR by this way. I am not sure about tan usage here.

Sir, I am getting an error if I run the model. An error occurred while running the simulation and the simulation was terminated Simulink cannot solve the algebraic loop containing 'PV_INVERTER/Universal Bridge/Model/Tail' at time 0.0 using the TrustRegion-based algorithm due to one of the following reasons: the model is ill-defined i.e., the system equations do not have a solution; or the nonlinear equation solver failed to converge due to numerical issues. To rule out solver convergence as the cause of this error, either a) switch to LineSearch-based algorithm using set_param('PV_INVERTER','AlgebraicLoopSolver','LineSearch') b) reducing the VariableStepDiscrete solver RelTol parameter so that the solver takes smaller time steps. If the error persists in spite of the above changes, then the model is likely ill-defined and requires modification. How to solve this?

Hello sir, *How can I convert the system into a 415V system (380V in the present system) and what exactly are the blocks I need to make the change. I have already tried, but the system limits its output at 380V. *Why are we taking 780-800V as DC input for 380V AC

did you try to start the simulation with a Pref of 20 kW? I had some problems starting with this value

I didn't try it. But it might be a problem, because time may be needed to start the PV model.

Hi, I can't find a PMSG model with all the system parameters. The wind model requires measured parameters in pu. I can't find a solution for the torque side.

Sayın hocam, burada P ve Q nun rms değerini gözlemlememiz gerekiyor diye biliyorum.Doğru mudur, Kontrol de anlık değerlere göre kontrol yapılıyor. Ancak Sonuçta P ve Q nun RMS değerine bakmak gerekiyor diye biliyorum. Q yu blok ile hesaplar iken P*tan(alfa) olmayacakmı hocam, sin ile çarpmışsınız orada bir problem olabilir. Merhaba videoların size yardımcı olmasına sevindim. Dediğin gibi P ve Q değerleri RMS ile hesaplanabilir. Ancak RMS işlemi zaman alan bir yöntemdir ve pek tercih edilmez. P ve Q'yu hesaplattığım bloğa bakarsan "instantaneous". Ayrıca, P ve Q dan gelen değerlere bakarsan sinüs formunda değil doğru düzlemde olduğunu görebilirsin. Burada "instantaneous power theory" incelemeni tavsiye ederim. Bu önemli bir yöntemdir. Q için bahsettiğin durum ise sanırım Q_ref hesaplamayı söylüyorsun. Orada sadece referans reaktif güç değerini kVAR cinsinden hesaplamak için acos*sin kullandım. 0.99 power factor, yani cos(fi). Burada bana fi lazım dedim acos ile onu buldum. Sonrada Pref*sin(fi) dedim, bu da Q_ref. Bence bir problem yok ama yine sen de bir kontrol et istersen. Ona göre tekrar bakabiliriz. Kolay gelsin.

Caused by: Undefined function or variable 'Cf'.) hata alıyorum. Kodu da save edip çalıştırdım, simulinkle aynı dosyaya kaydettim ancak olmadı bir türlü. Yardımcı olabilir misiniz?

Sir , I'm not able to control Q at the inverter side . For Pref=10kw I'm getting the actual Q as -41kvar and even after changing Pref I'm getting the same current .

Please check the Q variables step by step. And be sure the PI outputs are correctly connected to the function block.

hocam merhaba videonuzdaki sistemi yaptım matlab simulinkte ama çıkışta 2 civarında bir akım veriyor bazen 1-2 arası bazen 3ün biraz üstünde veriyor ışınımı arttırsamda 3ün biraz üstünden öteye gitmiyor bu durumda 10 W falan bi güç anca çıkıyor neyi yanlış yapmış olabilirim acaba akım sadece 2 değer veriyor başka değer vermiyor gibi yardımınızı bekliyorum iyi günler

hello, my Iabc is way higher than you, it reach arnd 200. also the THD is higher like it reach to 30 what could be the issue? i doubled and trippled check everything step by step in your video but always same i get wrong waveform .

Hello sir, in one of your tabs says "qzs_param", can you explain how to calculate these parameters. On the other hand, can you explain vaguely the DC voltage control in the case of a single phase voltage source inverter connected to the grid for PV applications? I ask because I need to connect a qZS DC / DC converter with variable DC voltage at the output due to changes in radiation. That is why I need to control the DC voltage input to the VSI. The scheme I am studying is PV - qZS - H bridge - transformer - diode bridge rectifier - VSI - network. Thanks in advance.

Hello, ”qzs_param” not a parameter calculation file. It's only parameter file that contains sampling time, input voltage and switching frequency. But I think you can find a paper about parameter calculation. Please look Haithem Abu-Rub’s papers. Voltage control of the QZS inverters is different than classic types. Because it controlling by depending on shoot-true times. I have a paper about voltage control of QZS. Paper: ”Multi-Input Multi-Output Based Sliding-Mode Controller for Single-Phase Quasi-Z-Source Inverters”

@@nakiguler I get it. The problem is that I have a variable DC voltage at the output of the DC / DC converter (qZS with MPPT algorithm) due to radiation changes. Then, I must connect this system to the network through a VSI keeping constant the input voltage on it (which in turn is the output voltage of the DC / DC converter). Thanks for you reply.

In my opinion, you can set the system by using only qzs inverter. Why you want to use dc/dc converter and VSI?

Thanks for sharing . But when i designed this model following errors are occurred while running the simulation 1. output port 1 of 'untitled/PLL' is not connected. 2.Matching "From" for "Goto" untitled/Three-Phase V-I Measurement1/Iabc' not found 3.Error in port widths or dimensions. Output port 1 of 'untitled/PLL/Model/Automatic Gain Control/Fundamental (PLL-Driven)/Freq' has 3 elements. This port does not accept the dimensions (or orientation) specified by the output signal. could you please solve my problem ASAP. Thanks again

I am facing these error' "The sample time 2.5e-06 of 'pvgrid/MATLAB Function/ SFunction ' at input port 2 is different from the sample time 0.00025 of 'pvgrid/Discrete PID Controller/Saturate' at output port 1. Consider inserting a Rate Transition block between the two ports. Alternatively, you can control the diagnostic action for unspecified rate transitions by changing the option "Multitask (or Single task) rate transition" on the Sample Time Diagnostics pane of the Configuration Parameters dialog box."'Can you solve this.

An error occurred while running the simulation and the simulation was terminated Caused by: Simulink cannot solve the algebraic loop containing 'PV_Grid_2/PV Array/Diode Rsh/Product5' at time 0.17930000000000001 using the LineSearch-based algorithm due to one of the following reasons: the model is ill-defined i.e., the system equations do not have a solution; or the nonlinear equation solver failed to converge due to numerical issues. To rule out solver convergence as the cause of this error, either a) switch to TrustRegion-based algorithm using set_param('PV_Grid_2','AlgebraicLoopSolver','TrustRegion') b) reducing the fixed step size. If the error persists in spite of the above changes, then the model is likely ill-defined and requires modification.

HVDC sistem kurmak başlı başına karmaşık bir yapı oluşturacaktır. Hat vb. durumları da katmak gerekir. Hem HVDC tasarımı hem de PV entegrasyonunu açıklamak bir makale olur diyebilirim :) Videoda anlatmak gerçekten zor olur.

Same issue was with me, the error is you used wrong PLL please select PLL(3ph)

@@dogukanyaman7904, anladım. şimdiye kadar onu hiç kullanmadım sanırım. bağlantıda yapmıyorum ama bende hiç hata vermedi. Bilmiyorum, sürüm farkı yada configürasyon ayarlarındaki farklılıklar neden olabilir.

@@dogukanyaman7904 simülasyon fixed-step discrete mi kontrol edebilir misiniz? hata metni varsa onu gönderirseniz onun üzerinden de gidebiliriz. Bu arada şunu da belirtmek isterim, MATLAB bazen başka hatalar olduğunda eksik bağlı yerlere yönlendirme yapabiliyor.

@@잔시스-u4g , you can use 2 ways for THD. If you want to see results for all simulation time, you can use THD block in simulink library. You can enter three phase signal to that. It will give the THD results when the simulation is running. Second way, if you want to analyze specified period or periods, you can use FTT Analysis in Powergui block. To obtain better signals, You can increase the filter inductance. But it will increase the losses. Efficiency will reduce.
