@@darkphoenix7123 Thank you for replying. Lesser amino acids and lesser bioavailability than which source? 😊 As compared to whey protein concentrate, yes soy protein isolate has a lesser DIAAS. For whey protein concentrate it's 1.33 but for soy protein isolate it's 0.98. However, if you include pricing in this comparison, whey protein concentrate has 35% more bioavailability but is priced 100% higher than soy protein isolate. So soy protein isolate is better here. Also, if you compare it with other plant sources like pea and brown rice, their individual DIAAS are 0.80 and 0.40 respectively. It's possible that the 80:20 mixture of pea and rice has a better DIAAS, but i couldn't find the value on the internet. So can't say for sure. That's why i asked for the testing of soy protein isolate. Regarding excess soy protein causing manboobs, please define what excess is. Because even if we consume 3 scoops of this protein powder, it's 81g soy protein. Is there any research that says that consumption of 60-90g of soy protein daily causes manboobs?

@@Kevin_Padia my point is that just buy pea+ brown rice protein powder because it has better amino acid profile and more bioavailability and the price difference is only of 100₹. Soy protein also taste worse and is one of the top 10 allergens so there might be a chance that you'd get sick if you take alot of soy protein. I am not comparing it to whey protein but in that regard also whey is better because the only advantage soy isolate has over whey is that it's cheaper and a body builder who pays ₹10000 gym fees every month can buy ₹2000 whey easily.

Because their individual bioavailability is lesser and i couldn't find the bioavailability of the combination of pea and rice protein. The same goes for amino acids. How are you saying that pea+rice protein has more amino acids than soy? Also, what made you think that i asked for the testing of soy protein isolate from the point of view of bodybuilders? 😅 I asked this question from the pov of general public who find whey protein powders expensive.

@@Kevin_Padia the bioavailability and amino acid content of pea+rice is better than soy according to chatgpt, you can yourself ask chatgpt it will give a detailed insight on which amino acid pea and rice lack individually which their combination fulfills resulting in a complete protein. Even through a general person's perspective, soy isolate is only ₹100 cheaper than pea+rice which is slightly better in terms of bioavailability than soy but a big disadvantage of soy is as I mentioned, it's one of the top 9 allergens and if you unfortunately have an undiagnosed soy allergy then this can be life threatening and many people have trouble digesting soy in general.

complete protein means it contain all essential amino acids required for muscle repair and growth,but I don't think plant protein contains all essential amino acids you should consume it with other food sources to make it complete source of protein

Because it's a protein shake. And it has the protein mentioned. If someone is being bothered by 2-3 grams of extra carb per serving, then it is a joke. Even professional athletes won't be affected by just 2-3 grams of carbs. It's negligible. A bite of whole wheat chapati, a spoon of rice, or a slice of banana, has more carbs than this.

@@raaz.since1989Fat and Carbs can be a gram or two up. It's not a key parameter. If protein has added sugar, or protein content is significantly lower than mentioned, or not all amino acids, or amino spiking to artificially boost protein content on paper, then it's a failed product.
