Sir, I agree with you. NONE of the old astrologers (reputed) used Nakshatras. They came up with highly accurate predictions with Rasi chart, Navamsha and other div charts.

@@jyothiananth6075 pls ask any Old astrologer. In my case, I knew some famous Kerala astrologers (Namboodiris) and they never mentioned nakshatras! It is used only for Moon's movements and for dashas. In BPHS only 3 or 4 places there is mention most specifically in Longevity slokas. Kindly read those. Thanks

Nakshatra classify our DNA & RNA in simple word they suggest who really we are from few past life and have nothing to do with astrology. It seems they were made to classify people Good , Better, Best based on Moon position. We are living in a changing world where things are changing fast. The best thing I find is to make your 10th house strong by doing good Karma and see rest of all will change automatically..Hare Krishna 😀

When an astrologer cannot predict anything which is the case more often than not, they try to bamboozle you with esoteric concepts of nakshatra, etc.

It is a bit unusual that he would accent using the sutras so much, and sticking to rules of jyotish, while he uses outer planets, such as Neptune, Uranus and Pluto - which are not used in jyotish 🤔 So, basically, in the case of nakshatras, he is making a whole argument by explaining that one should stick specifically to the rules and texts, and also, using only 1 chart as proof - his own - but in the case of the outer planets, it is ok to not apply the rules and the sutras. I am not saying the man is wrong, but unfortunately, I do not think he makes a compelling argument 🤷♀️

Good point... Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Moon are big and outer planets which controls global population... NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR PERSONAL SELF AND DAY TO DAY LIFE.... HE IS JUST ANOTHER HYPOCRITE!

Guru Braha makes good points…However, why would many Indians see the valid use of nakshatras? I think we should consider what people like Sanjay Rath and other Indians may say about expanding on their use as an innovation from the the past with Jyotish… If one wishes to say it’s not relevant to it, so be it. If one doesn’t wish you respect it’s use so be it as well. Yet, to say it shouldn’t be done because it isn’t relevant that is judgment that is right for a person to have but with tolerance that people can do so as well. I see it this way, India is fortunate to have a diverse representations of God, I see no point in say the light of Jyotish is limited only in 7 colors. My teacher is showing his wisdom but also inability to see their innovation even in understanding the basics. Accuracy is in the eye of beholder…and even scientists are critical to the perspective of the observer who is using the tool of science.

To me, it's obvious the nakshatras must be powerful. The nakshatra ruler of the moon sets up your entire life via it's dasha periods. Imo Claire Nakti is the only one doing serious work with the nakshatras most don't know how to approach the subject properly.

I'd just like to add here that Mr. Braha did mention two Nakshatras that made the normal functioning of planets difficult. He did say in another interview that in some readings, for example, he predicted a great period for the Jupiter Mahadasha because it was exalted in Cancer. However, it did not turn out to be true for the native. He said the reason was because the planet was in either Vishaka or Ashlesha. These two Nakshatras somehow distort how the planet should normally function. But doesn't go to prove that Nakshatras do have an astrological impact?

Jyotish and nakshatras are not opposed, they are not different and they are not in contradiction. Dare I say regardless of their source originally, they both work to profound effects. Jyotish is akin to the foundation, structure and layout of a house. The nakshatra are the pictures on the walls, the colours of the artifacts within the house and the music playing in the background. How can one say one is more accurate than the other? How can one say because the structure of the house is found in an engineering textbook it is the most true? How can one deny the reality of the art and music in the house?? When it comes to astrology, like the honourable man said, you can't learn from the words of the teacher the best insights must come to you directly. When you look upon the sky at night, do you see any houses? Do you see any signs? Or do you simply see stars and the Grahas? I'd say the way the sky presents itself is the way Jyotish truly is, one coherent, clear and beautiful melody not bothered by the many divisions humans can conjure up regarding it. From which text says what, to who quotes it. All irrelevant under the face of the sky. Is it true? Does it work? Those are the only questions that truly matter.

His main point is to follow the evidence, no matter where it leads. The Truth has to be at the top of your belief hierachy and everything must be put at its service. Personal testimonies or personal results/Truths are an absolute no no when it comes to scientific research. We must avoid getting stuck in a loop of self conforming theories if we are willing to take up astrology seriously. To be a legit astrologer you absolutely must have a sceptic and a scientific mind. And that in itself is an incredibly difficult thing to find or attain. Even most scientists are bad at science. Almost all ideas that a human mind produces or have produced, are wrong.

Thanks for this video. Agree to what James said. These days just because everyone wants to show himself as some unique astrologer, they unnecessarily complicate things which are not required at first place. Lagna & Navamsa chart are enough for experienced good astrologers to give solutions & predictions.

🫤 Koolaid seems strong among the populous- Im questioning myself what is wrong with people?? Nakshatras are the core and key to understanding the Vedas and life patterns What kind of Non-sense is this?? Its actually heresy and disrespectful to The foundation of Jyotish . As it is through Nakshatras that makes Hindu/ Jyotish stand out as a light against all other forms of Astrology. The reason there are only few sentences written because the Nakshatra knowledge was sacred and given orally to keep it protected. Now its knowledge can stand as a light to its rightful keepers who safe guarded the knowledge. You should know this Sir! What kind of acting is this? Because Hindus were excellent keepers of historic records and time, it is clearly easy now to see where false hood and changing history came from. The Nakshatras reign supreme and make the knowledge of Hinduism have a solid foundation among any other doctrines that were forged. Sorry if my words seem offensive but this presentation was disturbing. Brandi Mikayla-

Well I was struggling to find an argument there. The one you are trying to make seems to be that we somehow wanted to keep it secret. Firstly, I would like some evidence for that claim. Secondly, if this knowledge was such a secret, then why mention it at all? Third and final point, so the current breed of astrologers are dabbling with something they have no knowledge of, that even the great sages decided to guard and protect. Now, either the sages were wrong in keeping this a secret. Or the current astrologers have no clue with what they are dealing with. You need to address this inevitable conclusion of your line of argumentation.

But thats not a reason to not study nakshatras. For example, bharani clearly explains james. Mother had difficulties, he is in a spiritual field, difficult childhood, good with money etc.

I may agree on some points but not all of them. If something doesn't work for someone to exclude is validity totally when is working for someone else is not correct, maybe the teacher or that school does not use the proper techniques. I love Varshaphala, I could not live without it ,I may say that 80% of accuracy with my techniques and Tropical rasis. About ayanamnsa and Naksatra padas; that is something to think, some astrologers tend to use them like butter and bread..... personally I do use Naksatras only for dasas... Anyway Braha has a lot of experience that is something to be very appreciated and is a very charismatic speaker and behaves like an actor :-)

This video makes zero sense nakshatras are more than archetypes and sounds like he's just trying to discredit people finding sense with nakshatras becuase someone with anuradha in one house for example will not have the same or experience as someone with it in a different house. This is western astrology not vedic

Mentioned zero sutras. I respect your opinion but completely disagree nakshatras are literally what separate vedic from tropical. Also sutras say nakshatras give results, your experience does not invalidate othrr great astrologers and their experiences this is actually we ppl arr starting to leave tropical and western based astrology and going to vedic. Using vedic like how tropical does also doesn't work...
