Dr. Pai this was explained very eloquently and clearly. Very easy to analyse the nakshatras, vargottamas, pushakara navamsas and bhagas. One thought comes to mind though about your explanation on UAshada nakshatra yoni. If there is Venus in UA nakshatra pada 1 in Sg, it is vargottam as well as in pushakara navamsa, meaning it should be really strong for its main signification ie marriage partner, yet does not have a partner because in U Ash nakshatra. How does this reconcile?

Sunilji, towards the end of the discourse there were some comments from you on the placement of Venus in Uttar Phalguni Nakshatra - the eyes of such a native being affected, etc. which were dead on in the case of a Chart i have. (Btw, the remark about the bed being defective in response to Betina's question was abs mind blowing!) My question is that Venus at around 4* in Virgo in the 3rd Pada of Uttara Phalguni is far away from the 27* Virgo which is its degree of deep debilitation. Why is it still so troublesome? Of course, other factors also have to be seen. But its placement in Aquarius in Navamsa may not be too bad in 10th house with Saturn, Moon and Ketu. Furthermore, Venus is afterall the Ascendant Lord, in a Trikona house in a friendly sign in the birth chart.This is also a case of Vargottam lagna (Taurus) if there is such a thing...

I have a question, and I would be very grateful for any advice. I have Jupiter debilitated in Capricorn, but it's at the 14° in the 2nd pada of Shravana which is said to act as exalted. I am very curious about this, because I have never felt like my Jupiter was debilitated even though it is in Capricorn. I actually turned my hobby that I've been into since childhood into a source of income. I only mentioned this because of Capricorn being the natural 10th and I feel like I don't even work, which is a great blessing. I also have become more and more spiritual with the passage of time. Very spiritual and try to follow Dharma, so these are the reasons why I felt like Jupiter has never acted as debilitated. I'm assuming it's the Pushkara bhaga that has helped me. I'm curious if this completely gets rid of the debilitation, or if they just cancel each other put, or does it act like a neeche bhang and give it extra strength. I wish this question came up, but I will be very grateful to anyone who can shine any light on this scenario. Thank you all. 🙏

Thankyou Dr. Pai for this wonderful discourse! I imagine there is a "deep" connection between the Nakshatras, the Navamsas and the cosmic journey of the soul?!. Would like to understand this fascinating but very complicated subject better. Was wondering where one can have a hard copy of the important charts shown during the presentation. Also a summary of the points you made about the significant characteristics of Nakshatras. Pardon my ignorance, but is there any mention of the divisionals in BSP or did this originate with the Parashari system?

Thank you Saptarishis Astrology, its founder, Dr.Arjun Pai for these really very good videos. Could you tell me for for Pushkara Bhaga, what is the variance for which still planets give result of exaltation. E.g. Mars-------> in Cancer----> Pushya[2] ----> at 9.44.22 degree, But Arjun Sir said any planet at Pushya[2]----> at 8.0.0 degree gives exalted result.Does it still gives exalted result? What should be considered?

Venus is in pushkar bhaga (19 degree leo) so no effect of venus develited.

Hi , I have a question regarding the topic. Suppose if moon is in 14 degree taurus(rohini-2) pada and sun is also in 14 degree taurus(rohini-2) pada in the ascendant or in any other house .Then will the moon will give the same good result, because having the same degree as the sun the moon will become combust and generally it is said in vedic astrology is that combust planets don't give results .Please advice Thanks , Swarup
