The question is. Why in the hell would a forest be developed by a so called private developer while all forests do not belong to anyone but the govt. Why was this developer even allowed to go to such extent of developing the land in a forest with all manner of destruction. The govt kicked out Mau forest inhabitants, the govt is seen to be on a crusade to prtoect all forests even some counties want to expand their towns into forest land but can not. Why was Kiambu forest being grabbed with impunity with no word from the governor, KFS, Minister of forestry or even the president in his own backyard but the responsibility to protect the forest was left to this woman and she lost her life. The govt failed her and the govt seems selective on who can develop on forest land and who can not. This person had connections in govt and was untouchable and the reason why he was left to destroy the forest. Unbelievable. The govt needs to answer some serious questions.

Therefore you could also be wrong. All in all, the Police have been a major let down in this case. The victim reported to them about the threats and they did nothing.
