Nal Sarovar - Paradise of Birds near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
It is one of the largest wetland bird sanctuary in Gujarat, and one of the largest in India. It is spread in the area of 120.82 sq.km lake and it about 64 km from Ahmedabad, near Sanand Village, in the Gujarat State of India.
Nal Sarovar is declared as Bird Sanctuary in April 1969 and it is declared as a Ramsar site since September 2012.
Best Time to Visit: November to February (Preferably: December)
Visit Time: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (Best time to reach is before Sunrise)
The sanctuary has flocks of indigenous and migratory birds, with more than 200 species passing throughout the winters. Birds like ducks, geese, eagles, spoonbills, cranes, pelicans and flamingos are best seen at the lake.
Here at Nal Sarovar you have to bargain with boat riders but we had booked priory so we could save our time and could get best deal as well and don’t forget to bring gathiya (Gujarati Snack) to feed the birds. We have booked prior in order to save the time from Mr. Amit - 81282 17779 as you need to bargain with boat riders at entry point.
There is also a facility of lunch(Gujarati) at the last point (Dhrabla Island) which is must try.

Sir & mam we should not feed human foods to this birds as their bodies are not capable of digesting our food and they have specialized diet human foods are not healthy for any wild animals or birds hope u understand and spread this info so our nature can be saved 🙂
