No need to cry about Nalanda or Takahashi, in India still we have many hidden manuscripts roting away still not deciphered or preserved 40,000 of such manuscripts at Bhubaneswar's State Museum,palm-leaf manuscripts stacked in the museum. Most of them are written in the Oriya script, though the language is Sanskrit text was copied from one leaf to another. The oldest manuscript here belongs to the 14th century but the text can be dated to the 2nd century. Many more in Rishikesh's(devpaayag) Varanavasi's haridwar's temples & National archive of India. We need cutting edge tech like high-resolution X-ray detector that creates 3d map separating inc from material its used on, called HEXITEC Smithsonian museums are using. & can digitally archive our past.

Nalanda destruction began from the Brahman and completed by Muslim kings. That's it. No Vedas present during buddha era and No Vedas placed inside Nalanda university. It was purely a Buddhist university and monastery.

nalanda university is just 10 km far from my house i cry when ever i visit the university not because it was destroyed but because our government is not excavating the near place of the university the university was spread across 10 km but only 1 km of university which we see in photo is this rest 9 km in still encroached govt should excavate this area this can give us some more idea about the university we could even find the library which took months to burn still libarary is unknown ...govt must look into this

Please throw some light over the ruins of Odantapuri Mahavihara (University) which is just 11 KMs away from the ruins of Nalanda Mahavihara. It is situated in Biharsharif town, the headquarters of Nalanda district which has been neglected by the government. It is still under the land, under the human settlement over it.
