I got basically the same kalimba from amazon but under the brand Aklot, this one has the notes engraved on the tines already and but mine came with clear stickers too. So if anyone wants one with the notes on it I’d say get the aklot one. It’s pretty much identical.

Its acrylic glass.. Im not sure about it breaking when u drop it since i haven't experienced it myself.. But its quite thick.. It just scratches really easily even if you're super careful.. So i suggest you only use it around the house if you're prone to dropping stuff..

If you’re on a budget probs get Nalu, but honestly Kimi is better in my opinion, you can even get a holographic one. Tho I’m on a budget so I just got a random Kalimba on Amazon for £22

I'm torn between the Nalu Cat Kalimba and the Purm Cat Kalimba as of the moment. I'm not sure if this is a good question, but what do you think is the better choice? I really like the engraved tines on Purm and the fact that its smaller, but the lack of a hard case is making me second guess.

Hmmm if you just play at home then a hardcase isn't that necessary. But if you bring your Kalimba outside then it's highly recommended since acrylics scratch so easily...

I feel like the only one who stopped liking engraved notes and is desperate for a good set of stickers. (I like plain tines so I can tune my Kalimba to a completely different set of keys like B, G or A.) On online shops in America we don’t seem to have a cute selection of stickers to even buy from. So jealous of some cute key stickers I have seen on some vids lol

I don't have a weighing scale atm but it's definitely heavier about 3x the weight of the wooden kalimba. You can get exhausted playing it after 5 full songs so I usually take a break. Hope that helps 🌸
