The Void destroyed our old way of life. Irrevocably changing our world forever. For the better? Questionable. Back then, we had comfort and luxury to not worry about the future. To worry about monsters because they didn't exist. But we have true power, now, too. I know we never could have dreamed of the heights we have reached before. But, as we stare down the literal manifestation of the Void, the quintessential form of it, the nightmare that is Voidling-turned-royalty, I know in my heart and in my bones that we fumbled through our journey, but that journey led us here.
