The best thing about Yi Jin is that he is not those unrealistic cheesy guy who does completely ridiculous thing to show that he love you. He actually take care of her. He showed his love by taking care of her. Small gestures such as holding her things, shedding her under the umbrella, keeping the stickers for her and many more. He loves her through all his actions. That is why it is really hard to accept that they broke up for good just after one fight. How am I ever going to move on from this? Ottokeeeeeee. Send help pls!

And he was the only one who looked for her after abruptly leaving the press conference, used his one precious wish slot (from cheekily winning the fencing game against her) to ask her not to make more problems, face the mess she had created herself, and took a full responsibility for it. They made each other a better person. Sad how the writer turned them into a completely different personality nearing the end.

I agree with you #Nadea. Even Back yi jin comforted her in many ways. Back yi jin was one of the biggest supporters of Na hee do. They rooted for each other. The relationship they were able to build up from ep 1-15 that broke up in the blink of an eye at ep 16. Therefore It’s hard to accept the unwanted ending. Is Hee do happy with her husband?? I really want to know.

@@julymiranda3766 well it was one fight that was showed to us. I understand Hee Do might have felt that she needs to go through what her mom did to her all over again. So thats what time jumps were for. The writers can easily show they reunited in 2009 since Hee Do retired and Yi Jin is back in Korea. Nevertheless, was a beautiful story and as a hopeless romantic I just wanted it to be a happy ending. ❤️

OMG their acting and chemistry is SO DANG GOOD I kept getting butterflies. Kim TaeRi embodies every character she plays (she IS Na Hee Do! So phenominal) and NJH has exponentially grown since WLFKBJ (also one of my faves). He was so phenomenal Yejin! 2521 was so heartbreakingly good, I don't regret watching it. All the highs and lows, anger, pain, love, friendships, dreams, tears and laughter...It's truly a masterpiece. One of my top faves for sure. Wishing the whole cast more success bc they all deserve it!

Tbh with you guys..,,,I wouldn’t have been this heartbroken with the ending if Hee Do and Yi Jin were not played by Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk. I’ve watched hundreds of dramas so I’m quite okay with bittersweet endings but this was different. They played their character so well and the chemistry was just so outstanding that it just made sense for them to be together. They really embodied Hee Do and Yi Jin. It was shown in the BTS just how much they added to these characters through their adlibs. They had so much fun making the drama that we as fans felt it through that final takes!! I hope this will not be the last drama of them together! 🥰

I guess the reason why we were all rooting for them to be endgame because of how their relationship was built from friendship and being each other's support system. There was no falling in love because of their looks but it's more of having someone to rely on in your toughest times and at the same time, bring you so much happiness.

Such a sweet scene, but such a heart-breaking ending. I think as viewers we understand that as couples even though you strive as much as you can to make it work, it just sometimes doesn't work. What I don’t understand is how can you build their relationship so beautifully in so many scenes only to bring it crashing down in the last two. That was where it doesn’t make sense to me. If I was the writer, I would have taken my time with their ending too, in order to give us viewers a greater chance to process their ending. As far I’m concerned, I would take this story as one of youth and growth but not love as I don’t think their love was done justice 🥲

I still love this series but the conclusion of their relationship could have gone better since it was not even that different from Yu-rim and Ji-woong's situation (except that maybe Ji-woong had lesser priorities compared to Hee-do and was more capable of waiting for Yu-rim).

Twenty Five Twenty One was genuinely one of the best drama’s I have ever watched. Although everyone wanted the two to be together in the end, I came to a realization that the only way for both to genuinely be happy in the futures, they had to be apart. This allowed Baek Yi Jin to advance in his career of becoming a news anchor and bring his family together again. This also helped Na Hee Do to follow through with her fencing career, with less stress for the both of them. Although I wish they would have waited for each other, this shows the more realistic versions of dramas. This truly was the definition of taking care of someone else’s soulmate.

(SPOILER) In my opinion, the ending broke my heart. I believe that kdramas are meant to distract us from reality and be unrealistic but this ending was realistic but at the same time not. All the couples got a happy ending minus our main couple which was sad. It started off as my favorite drama but became a sad ending. Anyways, I loved episode 15 and I'm going to act like that's how the drama ended.

In real life people don't stay the same person throughout their whole lives, they grow and change as a person. And often these changes don't happen in a synchronised way between two people who are in a relationship.. and when that synchronisation gets lost, that relationship becomes toxic. So the best thing to do at that point is to let the other person go before it destroys the beautiful memories they once had. I liked mr sunshine ending than this .Both love stories are very pure,start with friendship then love ,deep talks, very special kind of love . Honestly 2521 they rushed the last episode . Its totally dont make sense such a guy who even choose sport department and changed to other because of his girl to lost her because of career thing.
