@bizzaromicky71 truly, this juicer is a gamechanger and, in my opinion, the best juicer on the market, and it was voted the best of 2023. There is no juicer out there like that. The wide hopper is what we love about it how much we can put in and just walk away with no feeding one ingredient at a time needed like with other juicers. It saves us so much time in the morning. My whole family loves it.

5:55 I hear a lot of people who juice talk about "batch juicing" but fresh juice begins to molecularly oxidize rapidly and needs to be consumed as quick as possible. It may taste good after hours or days, but it looses significant nutritional benefits even after an hour.
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness Жыл бұрын
Slow Cold Pressed Juices may last between 3 days. However, after day 1 the juices lose about 40% of their nutrition value. Having said that the juice made with high speed juicers are produced with fewer nutrients and lose about 40% of nutrition value within the first hour. So, yes its best to drink it right away but if someone cant do it daily there is still some nutrients left after a day. Better than nothing.

@aligningwithlight768 you will love the Nama J2 then. It's so easy, and I don't have that issue. The only fruits you have to cut up are pineapple into small cubes as the fiber is long, but when cut, it never gets stuck. Celery is another very high and long fiber that needs to be cut. That's it. Purchased the Nama J2 first of the year. I like it a lot because of the big batching capabilities and it's slow and quiet and fairly easy to clean and assemble. I've used many different juicers in 20 years so I feel qualified to say this. Even though this is a very good juicer, it is not worth the $500 price tag. For that price it should damn near prep the fruits/veggies to be processed. The one thing I do not like about it is the release button on the lid.. It's very hard and hurts my delicate fingers.
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness 9 ай бұрын
If you have problems with the release button, contact customer support. They are amazing. Also, make sure you do not put it in the dishwasher. It's not dishwasher safe, and many people do that, and it damages the product.

Hi Splash of Goodness, I just started learning about juicing a few weeks ago. I have made three to four pretty good juicers. I'm currently using a bene casa juicer that I got cheap cause I wanted to try juicing out. I love having a fresh juice that is something I made vs store bought. I have seen the nama j2 juicer and will be looking to get this one next. I currently have to strain my fruit and vegetables when I juice them and it is very time consuming. I see with the Nama J2 juicer you don't have to do all that.

I don’t understand why we wouldn’t want the pulp for the fiber? Can you explain please?
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness 2 ай бұрын
I do use the pulp there is no waste. The reason some people juice because they are healing from digestive issues and have a hard time digesting fiber. Vitamins and minerals from juice are more bioavailable to your system, whereas it's hard to get a high dose of the vitamins when you eat it as some people can't absorb and digest properly. For example, cancer patients have compromised digestive systems, so juicing its much easier on their tummy. I know it's hard to understand when people don't have any tummy issues, but for the ones that have issues, it's easier to understand. Yes, fiber is very important, and I eat lots of fiber, but i also love getting more vitamins by juicing. Many people dont eat enough vegetables and fruits, so they are not getting enough of nutrients. When i talk to my clients, i always hear how little veggies and fruits they eat.

@splashofgoodness

It will juice the whole thing no problem as long as you don't mind the bitter taste from the skin especially if there is lots of lemons and oranges. I juice lemon with skin on in some of my juices but I only use 1 so it doesn't make the juice bitter but if you use many it might.

Mine arrived August 8th 2024 and IMMEDIATELY used it and was disappointed because it didn't get as much juice from the veggies as my old school juicer did and I was going to send it back the next day for a refund. I didn't see a big difference BUT my friend suggested that I try again with fresher veggies, so the next morning I went to the grocery store and bought new veggies and only washed the ones I was going to juice right then and OMG, this thing is AMAZING. The trick is to only wash the veggies that you intend to use right then because they will start dehydrating sooner and you won't get no where near as much juice. I used the same amt of veggies that I normally do with my other juicer and I got 1/4 more than normal. The pulp IS TOTALLY dry. The clean up was about the same as the regular juicer. I give this an A+.

Yes, it's amazing with soft fruits, tomatoes, and grapes, no problem. Pineapple is also no problem at all, but I recommend cutting them up because Pineapple has longish fibers that can get stuck if not cut. I always cut them quickly and never had issues getting stuck. The juice comes out smooth and silky. Thank you for your comment and for watching my video. Much appreciated 🙏 ☺️.

That is the size it came with, but they also have a larger hopper that can be purchased separately. Use discount code EVA10 so you can save $55 off the juicer or 10% off the accessories like the large hopper. namawell.com/discount/EVA10?ref=splashofgoodness

Isn't it best not to put the juices in the fridge? I've been told the juice oxidises when kept in the fridge.
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness Жыл бұрын
With high speed juicer yes but not with slow cold press juicer. slow-speed juicers keep these nutrients intact. They don't tarnish nutrients and enzymes that fast blades destroy. They don't add heat like high-speed blades and motors, so your produce maintains its integrity.

Hello! Thanks so much for the video. I have been juicing turmeric and can’t get it off the machine. Do you have this problem? Any solution? (I called Nama and no solution from them) thank you!
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness Жыл бұрын
Yes, I do, I use baking soda if it's to much but only once in a while. But the key is not to let it sit on the counter after juicing. It needs to be washed right away so it comes of easier. If you leave it for too long, then it can stain deeper. All juicer stains after turmeric. I used to have stainless steel and also stain when I left it for too long. I leran my lesson not to do it again, lol.

Hi there, how dry is the pulp? With my current juicer, i often put the pulp through the juicer a few times as it is so wet, especially with cucumber for example. Do you ever have to do that with this juicer?
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness 11 ай бұрын
I never have to run the pulp through it's pretty dry depending on what you juice. Cantaloupe or pineapple comes out dry and a litte wet, but there is not enough juice to run it through. These produce have lots of water but not enough to run through the juicer again. Hope this helps. 😊

Have you ever tried the hurom brand? Im hesitating about the nama j2 or the hurom h400
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness Жыл бұрын
No, I have not. I love Nama J2 Juicer. There is no juicer like it on the market. Even Hurom is different and smaller than J2. Nama Well company has a 15-year warranty on the whole juicer, even parts, there is no company that provides that. Nama is built to last. As for Hurom juicer, they have a 10-year warranty on the motor only. The parts are only covered for a 2-year warranty. With Nama, I don't have to worry for 15 years as everything is covered in the warranty. They also have a great payment option plan. You can also save with my discount code EVA10 to save $55. Link is in my profile and below the video in the description box.

@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness Жыл бұрын
They have a 15-year warranty on the whole juicer and payment plan options with zero interest. Remember you won't have to worry about the juicer for 15 years. There is no juicer on the market that offers that warranty, and it's amazing. They do have Nama J1, which is more affordable but different design. This is truly my favorite juicer on the market. Many companies will have 10 years' warranty on the motor but 2 years on the parts. With Nama Juicers, you have 15 years on the whole juicer.

I have spent a lot on this juicer and will get it by Wednesday. But now my worry is the food getting stuck. Please advise.

Omg, this juicer is the easiest to clean and fast. Takes less than 3 min to clean. Trust me, you will love it. I think when people say those things its because they don't like to clean. I had other juicers that were much harder to clean than this one. Everything is bigger on Nama j2, so it's easier to get to places. You will love it. Watch my full review. I show how I clean the juicer there.

Is it safe to juice the whole apple with the seeds
@splashofgoodness
@splashofgoodness 7 ай бұрын
Apple seeds have the potential to release 0.6 mg of hydrogen cyanide per gram. This means that a person would have to eat 83-500 apple seeds to develop acute cyanide poisoning. Plus, the juicer doesn't really crush them they come out the other way. You would have to chew them and eat the whole seed and lots of them to feel sick. I used to eat them when I was a kid and still do sometimes, but I'm not worried because it's very little. Hope this helps.

It's about making the time. If someone really wants to get healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle, they will always find time. It's about how badly you want it. I know it's not easy, I work full time but I will always find time because it's important to me. I can clean my produce and night so it's ready in the morning or I just do it at night so it's ready for next day.

@splashofgoodness

When the juice separates that is the good news because its natural. The store bought juices are filled with added fillers and gums so it doesn't separate. Al you have to do is shake once and its all good. It only separated if it stands in the fridge which is normal.

I think you are talking about the C2, not J2. The Nama C2 has an auto clean in the blender /juicer combo. You can watch my full review video on Nama C2. I show in that video how it works. In the j2 juicer, after juicing, you can add water and make sure to close the spout. Turn it on for a minute, and it will help to rinse, but you still have to scrub all the parts like all other juicers. This method just helps a little, but it doesn't clean everything well.
