May God bring healing to all kids out there no matter how old you are who are going through the same thing. I saw a video of a kid whose mom died and left him with his dad's wife, and this woman hated this kid so much that she fed him with faces. people can be wicked. I curse those who put their tumbs down for such beatiful music and talented artists! Bless you both Namadingo and Granpa Chalamanda! You both are my first favorite Malawian singers. I have known Malawian culture for quite long now from a good Malawian friend of mine, and your music is one of the great one among them. Love from Indonesia.

Obrigada Namadingo

I am listening to this song for the first time from Zambia. God bless Namadingo. May your legacy live forever. It call for a true son of Africa to go look for true legends whom we would have not known. But you have gone down to him at this level and lifted him. The world now knows about him. PROFESSOR GIDDES CHALAMANDA I love you

I can't have enough of this song even though i don't understand a word of what they say.I'm Ghanaian and i discovered this song a week ago and have played it all week on repeat.Even though i don't understand it i feel the vibe.Great song by all standards.Soothing voice from the old man takes my mind back to when i was a little boy,and the sensational voice of Namadingo makes this song so addictive.God bless you.

I love this song. Somebody shared it on FB and since then I fell in love with it. I shared it with my buddies at home (Nairobi) and they all love it. Luckily there is an English translation and we can understand what it is saying. I admire Namadingo for this colabo with Chalamanda. And he is great at his age. Long life Chalamanda. Namandingo is a blessing.

Pas besoin de comprendre la signification du texte pour être toucher par la magie de cette musique. Des musiques comme celles-ci soignent l'âme. J'approuve à 100% depuis le Cameroun. 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲 No need to understand the meaning of the text to be touched by the magic of this music. Music like this heals the soul. I agree 100% from Cameroon.🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲

As a Malawian, I am happy that this resonates with different people across the Continent. This is a mixture of several hit songs that Mr. Giddes did at the pick of his career. So it is not a one song. I hope one day I can find time to translate for those asking. However, literal translation without knowledge of it's context, looses it's true meaning. But for now just enjoy whatever your heart translates out of this beautiful mush up and interpret it in your own way. By the way I love Ghana and it's people, so I was smiling seeing all the Ghanaian people here. Akwaaba.

I can confidently say now I can memorise the song lyric, I'm a British musician teenager, I've never been in Malawi but this song is f* special. I think I've watched this video 5 times every day, how on earth this elderly artist is neglected and poor, Challmanda you are a unique artist now, tomorrow and forever ❤️

The moment i played it in the loud speakers, my elder brother said “That is Chalamanda” and i was like u knew him and never made mention of him before?? Thank you Namadingo for doing this. May you never lack and may peace be your portion always. Much love from Ghana 🇬🇭

This is great Music of the oldies from Malawi. I relate with so much having listened to Kenyan Music of the 1960s with great inspiration oozing with life. I don't understand the Chichewa dialect but the Bantu in it is similar to Swahili, I am a Nilote myself. I thank God for you Dr. Namadingo and associates for facilitating and making this reggae mashup. Its full of life. I challenge you to be as natural as Giddes Chilamanda and you will go far.
