A truly beautiful album, there are not enough words in any language to describe its flow and feeling.

Even though the story of Babylon's Tower is so short in the bible, it still fascinates me so much. Its always depicted in a negative light, but one can only wonder What were the people's fears? Their dreams? Their hopes? Its such a beautiful tragedy.

I really like the interpretation implicit in the XVII Major Arcana of the Tarots. It's a tower that crumbles/opens up, with people dying or dancing away. Traditionally it means catastrophe but also revelation: some kind of inevitable epiphany that disrupts what was before. I think it deepens how the Tower of Babel was both a punishment, but also an incredible divine revelation of the richness of all the languages that were bestowed upon mankind : )

@@omgodification you welcome! I forgot to mention the tarot is either named "The Tower" or "La Maison Diev", which could translate to "The House-God" or maybe "The House of God". Definitely strengthens the hypothesis that there was an intended link to the Bible!

23:57 I'm pretty sure her leitmotiv for Tales of the blood is Consolation No 3 by Franz Liszt

I just noticed that the beginning of this likely inspired Elden Ring's Volcano Manor theme!
