Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Thursday accused Arvind Kejriwal of protecting his aide Bibhav Kumar, claiming that the Delhi Chief Minister was at his residence when Kumar allegedly assaulted her.
In an interview with news agency ANI, Swati Maliwal said, "It is a fact that despite all this happening till date, I have not received any call from Arvind ji nor has he met me till now. Arvind Ji is protecting the accused... Instructions have been given to every person in the entire party to assassinate my character."

The presentation on dividing population into water usage was interesting but also incomplete in a way. The civilian population consumes only a small fraction of fresh water. It is the farmers who consume most of the fresh water and more efficient farming is where the solution lies. The irony is that the government policies encourage farmers to waste water by providing them with free electricity which they use to pump more water than necessary through deeper borewells. This has also resulted in the drying up of shallow dug wells. Part of the solution is to learn from Israel that has transformed a dessert into a garden using agricultural technology.
