@DOP duh, just use ur brain. A writer writes a story which gets famous. Many directors approach them for making it into film. So if one country has released film early doesn't mean they are copyright owners and other movies released after are copies. Rights still belong to writer who can sell it to anyone he/ she wants. They can make changes to story after writer agrees and this is what clearly is division between work of writer director. Many movies are adapted only for few story is written specifically. Like many Mangas and webtoons are being made into dramas, which can be released by korean, japan, china in different time frames. They are not copies they are based on Same story of same book.🙄
