Chengalpattu to Tambaram new 4th line feasibility status update shared in this video.
Chengalpattu to Tambaram distance is around 31 km.
Chengalpattu to Guduvanchery around 80 % land available. Near Kolavai lake & GST road stretch, land acquisition needed.
Guduvanchery to Tambaram section especially after Vandalur to Tambaram stretch land acquisition needed for major portion.
Irumbuliyur bridge & GST road portion before Tambaram will be obstacle for 4th line.
Hope new 4th line will get approval and it will be constructed soon in future.

Tambaram to Chengalpattu 4th line will be very useful and it will reduce the congestion.. Tamilnadu Government should acquire the land and complete this project on priority..

Forgot to mention Tamilnadu Finance Minister Mr. PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan requested Central government to sanction Chengalpattu - Tambaram 4 th line ( to allocate 600 crores ) project during pre budget meeting at Delhi organised by Union Finance Minister Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman few months before. Hope in next Budget this project will get sanction.

From Chingleput to Singaperumal koil, may be structures close to track are encraochment. Otherwise to be acquired. For Kolavai lake bridge and GST Road, ROB can be constructed and place below used for tracks From Singaperumal koil to MM Nagar also same . May be encroachments From MM Magar to Guduvanchery and Urappakam, I think no issue But from Urappakkam to Tambaram, existing tracks need to be realigned with no PF for main line and PF only for 3rd and 4. LA is not Possible. Similar arrangement before Tambaram Station where GST Road is very close (ROB)

Urapakkam no issue va Yov i am from urapakkam For 4th line the railway bridge of urapakkam may need to be demolished surely and 3rd line is close to road so many houses will loose access to road , so their house will be useless

@@ArvindRaSuDi Good idea but it will disturb the movement of EMU trains operating towards Chennai Beach as Empty rake of express train has to crossover suburban train tracks to enter platform 5,6,7,8 bound for express train. Moreover Chengalpattu station does not have enough space to built EMU car shed, as Kolavai lake located near to platform 8
