This will forever be my favorite arcade shooter ever made

This and the original Time Crisis were my absolute favorites back in the day.

Best arcade game ever. The force feedback gun, the environments, the enemy's, the action, everything was damn immersive and fun as hell. The enemy's flinching from your shots, the john woo exploding environments, and the force feedback really gave you a sense of shooting something with substance.

Yeah it really changed the level the arcade games were operating at....

This brings me back, using at least hundreds of quarters(or tokens) every time i went to a arcade. Man I just want to buy these old machines to relive the good ol days

That's what our business model is based on, lol!

best part of this classic cabinet is the recoil effect on the light gun. No more real sense of shooting in a video game than in Crisis Zone. Tons of great memories playing Crisis Zone, Time Crisis 1 and 2, Silent Scope 1 and 2, House of the Dead, etc

fun fact about the mirror: it's actually a two way mirror. this is due to the tracking system working with a camera. the gun as an IR LED that needs to shine through the mirror onto a green backing where the camera will pick it up

Yeah that game's a classic. Loads of satisfaction playing that. Wish I had one.

My favorite part is how you can shoot EVERYTHING

Joe's Classic Video Games much more fun than modern day call of duty type games. When will they realise these games should be designed around fun above graphics? Just like this game, designed around the gameplay.
@LyonsArcade6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they really 'went off the rails' somewhere (pun intended). If you look back at the games in the 80's and 90's they all HAD to be fun or nobody would play them, now they just make them look good and don't care if they're fun....

Very cool they made it to Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico represent! This was my mom’s favorite machine to play and also by extension, mine as well! I distinctly remember when I got the PS2 version, even as a kid, feeling the port was inferior to the remake. I’m glad to see that after all this time the arcade version still looks pristine graphically. Those destructible environments and rag dolls are delectable.

There was another "Deluxe" version of this arcade cabinet. It was much bigger. The one in this video was the "standard cabinet". Have you ever worked on the deluxe cabinet? Would love to hear your thoughts! Especially since you said the standard cabinet is so heavy. Lol

everything in Time Crisis 1 and 2 was perfected for this game. Sad that after this the franchise went down the drain. I would love to play Time Crisis 1 on the arcade again. timeless

Do you know if the language is selectable in this game? There is one for sale locally to me but it’s a Japan import.

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure yes you can change the language in the menu.
