Thought of sharing this as it came in today's ODB daily devotional... It mentions about C.S. Lewis who started of as an Atheist, was transformed by the Exodus 3:14, John 8:58 verses and and changed his perspective about God and then became a Christian.

God bless Pastor Tim laughing, crying, praising and glorifying God Almighty.. Been bedridden for so long dying 3 years, while pounding the Word of God into my life .. Finally resurrecting with hope, peace and love.. I’m 61 years young & was ready to meet thy God, but my youngest son is 16 years old, a 26 son and my 42 year old daughter all really want me to stick around.. So I purposed my life to trust in God, for he’s in control & the Great Physician is greater than the reports of suggestion .. God bless you all ❤

What if you were baptized as an adult, but you don't feel like you knew as much than as you do now? Do you have it done again?

Baptism is a command but it doesn’t save you. It is an outward symbolic statement of dying with Christ and coming up a new creation. I too got saved when I was a young girl and then got baptized. It meant a lot to me then and it was sufficient but a couple of years ago I decided that because I knew that God was doing a new thing in me that I just wanted to do it again (not that I had to) but it meant something to me a little differently than before. Let Holy Spirit lead you. I think even tho it’s not always necessary to get baptized more than once, there’s no rule on it. Hope this helps. 🙏

At 57:27 he says "The Bible is my God." Did he really mean that? I learned so much from this sermon about the names of Jesus and what they mean for the believer trusting in a relationship with the "living" God. So Tim's saying that the Bible, an inanimate compilation of paper and ink, is God seems a bit contradictory and out of character with the true God he just described in his sermon. Can someone make sense of this for me?

I agree with everything he said. But I have a problem with him saying that it's easy to go to heaven and hard to go to he'll. That doesn't fit with what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matt. 7:13-14.)
