The term Nami Danam (I do not know) from Bu Ali Shah Qalandar's (R.A.) persian verse envelopes so multi-dimensional facets and philosophical arguments that if I wished, I could have extended these poetic couplets up to even one hour or more but closing this topic within the limited time duration was a huge challenge that I encountered. Afterall, I work on "Short Sufi Spells" :) I always use to say that, "Selection of a topic for a verse-based discussion is probably easy ... Even initiating a stanza-based debate on that topic might be easier too .. but giving a conclusive closure to the selected topic is doubtlessly a real challenge." Hence, the only closure that deemed conclusive to me was on the matchless grandeur and unparalleled persona of Sarwar-o-Dojahan Ahmed-e-Mujtaba Tajdar-e--Ambiya Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (S.A.W.W.). Above all, your limitless love and appreciation is what keeps me going on and on probably. If a man has a little sense he would go crazy By dawn, everyone’s end is to turn into ashes In the gathering/party, whether it’s the candle/lamp (beloved) or the moth (lover) کہاں انسان کہاں عقل و خرد (ہوش) کی بیڑیاں (زنجیریں) توبہ ذرا بھی عقل ہو تو آدمی دیوانہ ہوجائے سحر تک سب کا ہے انجام جل کر راکھ ہوجانا بنے محفل میں کوئی شمع یا پروانہ ہوجائے After seeing this even you turned a blind eye Otherwise there was no calamity before this catastrophe This is how the world operates; this is the legacy of love That everyone is yours, only before the calamity. یہ عالم دیکھ کر تو نے بھی آنکھیں پھیر لیں ورنہ کوئی گردش (مصیبت) نہیں تھی گردش ایام (مصیبت کے دنوں) سے پہلے یہی دستور (طریقہ) دنیا ہے یہی رسم محبت ہے کہ سب اپنے ہی ہوتے ہیں کٹھن ایام (مشکل دنوں) سے پہلے Who put this flower’s branch near the garden? I put my tongue on the thorns in affection/fondness to kiss the flowers We will open heartedly complain for all the atrocities Since it is the court of the judgment day, which belongs neither to them nor to us یہ کس نے شاخ گل (پھول کی ٹہنی) لا کر قریب آشیاں (باغ / چمن) رکھ دی کہ میں نے شوق گل بوسی (پھول کو چومنے) میں کانٹوں پر زباں رکھ دی کرینگے شکوہ ظلم و ستم دل کھول کر اپنا کہ وہ میدان محشر (قیامت) ہے، نہ گھر وہ انکا نہ گھر اپنا This is the high quality of the Master (Muhammad Peace be Upon Him) that he could reach there (the Lote-tree of eternal abode on the seventh sky) Where even the angels couldn’t reach let alone their shadows Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) is the confidante (of God), nobody can understand his own enigma He is a human being for us - in reality what he is, only the God knows فضیلت ہے یہ آقا (ﷺ) کی وہاں انکی رسائی (پہنچ) ہے فرشتے کیا فرشتوں کے جہاں سائے نہیں جاتے محمّد (ﷺ) راز وحدت (خدا کے اکیلے ہونے کے رازداں) ہیں، کوئی رمز (بھید/راز) انکی کیا جانے شریعت میں تو بندہ ہیں، حقیقت میں خدا جانے I am a slave of his face, I am a prisoner of his fragrance I am a swirling dust of my beloved’s street, I do not know where I am going غلام روئے اٌو بودم، اسیر بوئے اٌو بودم غبار کوئے اٌو بودم، نمی دانم کجا رفتم (میں اسکے چہرے کا غلام ہوں، میں اسکی خوشبو کا قیدی ہوں) میں اسکی گلی کی خاک/غبار ہوں اور میں نہیں جانتا کہ میں کہاں جا رہا ہوں)

Few years ago I was a student of English Literature since then all my settled philosophies are shakened so frightfully that I felt my soul lost and out of the cage of "body" .Now that desperate process still flows but found its own ways.Where old question gets an answer new question pops up !here i am glad to say that all of your spells have worked as a great source of catharsis for my sceptical mind. Under the cover of simplicity your artistic creativity speaks loud , body gestures shout out your visions and facial expressions are self explanatory. I love that little white innocent statue of a "sufi" that you have displayed in few spells like khaki ,maikada and nami danam. May ALLAH put barkaat in spreading enchantment of approaching a "true soul" with your spells.

Literature student most likely undergoes with such process of sceptical queries regarding settled beliefs, as i remembered in the very first lecture of mine , warning was given to not to compare/mix up these theories with ur religion. I myself have some doubts what we are feeding with is altogether different from what we believe. But onto ur point of purgatory stuff provided by his Spells is realistically persuasive. Regarding his excellence , he is gem in all facets (articulation, presentation, mysticism, composition, etc) speechless...❤💕

Yes its exactly its pursuasive because he himself says in the comment pinned above "giving a conclusive closure to the selected topic is doubtlessly a real challenge ". As he weighs the value of responsibility to not to keep it open ended he not only makes subtle efforts to end it in a conclusive note but also present a logic for such an ending through argumentations in the spells which directly hit the heart and a satisfactory sigh comes out from the deep inside.
