Our adventure continued as we drove into Swakopmund.
We camped at Tiger Reef Campsite for two nights. From here, we explored Swakop, Walvis Bay, and Pelican Point.
Pelican Point was breathtakingly beautiful. The ever-changing landscapes were a sight to see, the bird life and seals welcomed us and the only pelican we saw was on the point of Pelican Point - crazy.
Our last evening at Swakop we treated ourselves to a seafood platter at the Jetty 1905 Restaurant. The next day we search for a 'free' dune to climb. You can't go to Namibia and not climb a dune, right?
From here we drove up the coast to an overnight stop along the beach. We swam in the "dead sea" we camped at a site in the middle of nowhere - St Nowhere Campsite. On our last night along the coast, we camped at the Omaruru River mouth.
After spending 6 nights at the coast we drove up in land to one of my bucket list spots - Spitzkoppe.
After we spent the night at Spitzkoppe with its "panoramic views and exotic sunsets" which was absolutely true. We took the long road up to Etosha National Park.
To be continued in our last episode.
Cheers, Hein & Niki
