Namibia Fish River Canyon Hike July 2021 Group181

This is our experience of the FRC. First time for most of us. Was a great hike and tried to give a video of then full trip. Giving you a good idea of what to expect.

I'm hiking FRC in July, any advice on which footware, shoes or boots 👢 ?

Hi. I think its should be what you are comfortable with. I hiked it with boots. Im also doing it again this july and will this time be wearing my solomon speedcross shoes. Both have advantages. Boots i think are more forgiving the sense of support. But i found it bulky and heavy. The solomos i will have to be a bit more considerate to where i step but are more streamline and light. After this years hike i should have a better opinion on weather to shoe or boot. Hope it helps. Hope you have a good hike!!
