The sand dunes of Namib Desert (or, Namib Sand Sea) in Namibia, Africa. Let's visit the Namib desert which is a coastal desert in Southern Africa in the country of Namibia. We are going to walk on top of the spectacular sand dunes of Namib Desert and experience how it feels to be there. The Namib desert stretches for more than 2,000 kilometres along the Atlantic coasts of Angola, Namibia, and South Africa.
Namib Sand Sea (Namib Desert in Namibia) is the only coastal desert in the world that includes extensive dune fields influenced by fog. Covering an area of over three million hectares and a buffer zone of 899,500 hectares, the site is composed of two dune systems, an ancient semi-consolidated one overlain by a younger active one.
