"6 month anniversary"? Anniversary means a celebration or commemoration of an event after the passing of a year. It denotes an annual occurrence of something. Therefore, there cannot be a "six month anniversary". The remembrance or commemoration of something after a month is called a "premium". Perhaps you could talk about the " sixth premium" or simply say "...six months after his passing".
