Namibia's first president Sam Nujoma dies aged 95

Namibia's first president, Sam Nujoma, has died at the age of 95 in the capital Windhoek. Nujoma, who led his country's fight for independence from South Africa, had been hospitalised over the past three weeks.

What a leader.Son of Africa.During the terrible days of oppression,he stood firm,fought for democracy.I remember him disembarking from a plane in Windhoek,after 30 Years of exile.He kneeled down and kissed the ground of his land of birth.What a moment it was.May this African giant rest in eternal peace.💔💔
